According to Philly.com, DeSean Jackson and Dallas cornerback Mike Jenkins have gotten into a little trash-talking match about whether the Cowboys are double-teaming Jackson or playing him man to man.
Jackson says jokingly that they have four guys on him sometimes. He was saying this on Ustream.tv
Jenkins told ESPN/Dallas.com that they haven’t been doing anything special to cover Jackson.
As I have seen it, Jenkins has done a good job on Jackson so far in man to man situations. In addiition they have given him help at times.
Regardless of what has been happening the Eagles have to find a way to free up Jackson for some catches.
I don’t think going deep all the tiime is the best plan. I want to see them take those comebacks routes which are there because everybody’s worried about him going deep.
It doesn’t take a lot of 15-25 yard gains to get into scoring position.
I want to see the Eagles show some patience and take what the Cowboys are giving them.
