Eagles “O” Must Be Operating At Their Very Best

If the Eagles are going to win the game tomorrow in Dallas, the offense must be on top of their game and that starts the offensive line, then goes to Donovan McNabb, then to his running back and wide receivers.

The line showed last week that they’re capable of blocking the Cowboys.  Marty Mornhinweg needs to consistenly mix the running game in there so that the Dallas defensive line has to worry about the run and won’t just be thinking pass.

A balanced game plan will give them a better chance of controlling the Dallas front seven which is probably the best in the game right now.

McNabb has to be on top of his game and that will come down to being accurate.  First of all, he must believe in the offense line and not get happy feet because he thinks the Dallas “D” line is coming through.

He must set his feet and get the ball to his receivers, when he gets the opportunity.  He can’t miss DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Brent Celek or any of the other receivers when they get open.

Of course the receivers must catch the football.  If the ball hits their hands they had better come down with it.
