I wrote an article stating the facts that our defense has produced only two turnovers in five championship games and I look at the comments after the article and many of them are about Donovan McNabb.
Our defense can get a total of one interception and one fumble in five games and the fans refuse to criticize.
They would rather ignore the facts and pretend that our defense has been doing their jobs in those championship games, How is that fair?
We talk about Donovan McNabb all the time and he’s been called out for not coming through in championship games and I think much of that criticism has been legitimate.
But why do people get mad at me if I state facts about how badly the defenses played in those games.
How do you produce only two turnovers in five games. That’s averaging less than a 1/2 turnover in each game and still they’re not called on the carpet?
Can we talk about the defense for a second without talking about Donovan McNabb?
Somebody make an argument for all of those defenses and why they should not be called chokers, if they led the league or were near the top of the league in forcing turnovers but manage to force only two in five championship games.
Those poor numbers in championship games are historically bad.
I want somebody to identify one defensive player who stepped up their play in those championship games.
