There are numerous reports that former Eagles general manager Tom Heckert will be signing with the Cleveland Browns, today.
He will be working under Browns team president Mike Holmgren. Of course Eagles head coach Andy Reid worked as an assistant coach for Holmgren in Green Bay and he learned the west coast offense from him.
He’s given credit for working with Reid to put together a team that has been able to stay in the Super Bowl hunt for over a decade and rebuilt a talented roster.
It’ll be interesting to see who the Birds to put someone in Heckert’s position.
