I Like The Cards In Close One Over The Saints

Warner in the pocket The only games which are competitive this weekend are the NFC games.  That AFC games are a joke and should be easy wins for the favored teams.

I expect the Cardinals and the Saints game to be a shootout.  You’ve got two big time quarterbacks, Kurt Warner and Drew Brees, running two explosive offenses against suspect defenses.

The game will take place in ideal conditions and it should be very entertaining.  I think this game could go either way and the winner will do the job inside the red zone.

Yards and field goals won’t get it done.  The winner will score touchdowns, not field goals.

I like the Cardinals, 40-34, in this one because they’ve got the better running game of the two.  They have more receivers who can make the amazing play and catch in the red zone.

Brees In the Pocket Plus I like Warner a bit more than Brees because he’s been there and done that.  The Saints have been leaking oil for over a month and they have been sitting and watching for a few weeks.

Larry Fitzgerald has the size and athleticism to make plays on the ball when it’s in the air.  He’ll either draw a pass interference penalty or go up and take the ball from the defender.

Anquan Boldin may come back but if he doesn’t they’ve show they can win without him.

I think a big play here or there by one of the defenses could play a major role in deciding the game and the Cards defense is more capable of making that play as they showed last week.

If you like fireworks, this one will be worth the wait.
