I know you didn’t expect this, but 76ers guard Allen Iverson has been voted to be a starter in this year’s NBA All-Star game.
He began the season with the Memphis Grizzlies and was upset because he wasn’t starting.
He was coming off the bench and couldn’t deal with it.
Iverson played only three games with the Girzzlies then worked out a way in which he could leave the team.
Once he got free he was shocked to find out that nobody else wanted him. He sat out there for awhile and nobody was coming after him.
Even the New York Knicks said no to Allen. It changed Iverson’s attitude as a player and he’s been a model citizen since joining the Sixers.
