Steve Wyche of NFL Network posted some comments from McNabb following Wednesday’s Pro Bowl practice.‚ÄúHe looks forward to getting back,‚Äù McNabb said. ‚ÄúAll the talk people are saying on retirement or whatever it may be, it‚Äôs all false.‚Äù
There has been a lot of speculation that Westbrook would retire, but it seemed to be from people who were spreading the word for the Eagles organization.¬† They would love for Westbrook to retire, so they don’t look bad if it comes time to cut him.¬† They had to deal with that last year when Brian Dawkins walked.
When McNabb was asked whether or not Vick would be back again next year with the Eagles, McNabb simply said “yes.”
I’m not sure how he would know that when his own future with the team is so uncertain.¬† So, as always, take it with a grain of salt.¬†
