Mike Lombardi was just on 610-WIP talking to Glen Macnow and Ray Diddinger. He said some shocking things about the Eagles quarterback situation.
Lombardi thinks Kevin Kolb is the quarterback most likely to be traded rather than Michael Vick or Donovan McNabb.
He went on further to say that he expects all three of the quarterbacks will return for the 2010 season. He says they won’t let money get in the way of their decision.
Lombardi isn’t talking about the Eagles which I know.
I do think some fans and critics accuse the Eagles of being more money-minded than they really are, but I don’t think they will ignore the millions they’re expected to pay Vick.
I believe the information the Eagles leaked out is a reaction to Vick talking about wanting to play elsewhere and the former number one pick in the draft saying he thinks he’s still one of the top ten quarterbacks in the NFL.
