Former Indianapolis Colts Pro Bowl wide receiver and Philadelphia native Marvin Harrison was a great player who will probably enter the Hall of Fame as a player, but as a person, he won’t enter any type of Hall of Fame.
His teammate and fellow Colts receiver Reggie Wayne, who is preparing for the Super Bowl, says he was never close with Harrison and hasn’t heard from Harrison in a while. He’s not surprised about it because Harrison wasn’t close to anybody on the team.
“He’s to himself. He has a lonely soul. He’s anti-social. If you saw him talking to the media that’s an imposter. That’s not him. That’s just what works.“
I’ve been told that Harrison has a serious temper. Many of the people whom I know who him, say he’s extremely quiet but you don’t want to do something which gets him mad because he’s capable of losing it.
There’s a good reason on top of Harrison’s personality that Wayne hasn’t heard from him.
According to numerous reports and an article by GQ magazine, there’s a chance that the former Colts star could be charged with murder or manslaughter based on a case involving a Philadelphia man that was shot to death a year ago.
