Multiple Teams Have Contacted Eagles About QB’s

Vick and McNabb ESPN’s Adam Schefter just reported that there are multiple teams around the NFL who are interested in their three quarterbacks.

Here’s what he tweeted:

Multiple teams have called Eagles to inquire about their three QBs. The conversation, and speculation, will heat up in early March.

This is great news for the Eagles and their fans which means they will be in a strong bargaining position as we go through the period before the draft.

They may find themselves in a position where they can keep whichever quarterback or quarterbacks they want to and get valuable draft picks for the one or two which they want to trade.

McNabb says that head coach Andy Reid told him he would return for the 2010 season.  His contract runs out at the end of the season.

Kolb and McNabb McNabb gets a $6 million dollar bonus in May, right after the draft.

Kolb is coming to the end of a four year deal and would become a free agent at the end of the season depending on what happens with the collective bargaining agreement.

Vick will make about $5 million dollars this year if he’s with the team.
