Michael Vick should be playing the choir boy right now and letting his agent find him a job with another team in the NFL.
Somebody should have told Vick that he wouldn’t be helping his chances of getting picked up if he went out and campaigned for a starting job around the league.
All the teams see the footage and they know that he’s available.¬† They know he wants to be a starting quarterback.
This is where he should be passing the ball to his agent and letting him work behind the scenes to get a job.
The agent is supposed to using his contacts to press upon the right people to get him in the door on another team.  He should be on his best behavior now saying all the right things.
Running his mouth and campaigning for a job through the media is not the way to do it.
Maybe somebody said something to him because he’s now promising the Eagles he won’t be a problem if he stays here.
Vick told some media people the other day that he won’t be a disgruntled employee if he doesn’t get traded and has to return to the Eagles in the same role he had a year ago.
“If I’m in the same situation, I’ll just have to suck it up and go out and play and listen to what Andy wants me to do and understand I’m there to play a certain role to try to help the Eagles win a Super Bowl. I can’t be a disgruntled employee, because that’s not who I am.
“The only thing I could do is express my concerns and let them know where I want to be, and they know I want to be behind center. I just have to let it all play out.”
Vick did take some time off from campaigning for a starting job in the NFL to tape a couple of episodes of Pro’s vs. Joe’s with former Eagles quarterback Jeff Garcia yesterday
