If you needed more evidence about why Sixers coach Eddie Jordan should be fired, all you had to do was check out the Sixers and the Cavs last night.
He indicted himself after it was over.
“Well, we started off by playing with a lot of energy, with a lot of pop and spirit,” Sixers coach Jordan said. “We did a lot of good things.”
It’s the coach’s job to make sure his team is ready to play every night.
Yes they blew the game at the end when they had the chance to tie things up, rookie guard Jrue Holiday threw the ball away on the key possession.
You could tell the team was excited because they were playing Labron James and his Cavaliers, which is the team with the best record in the NBA.
As Jordan said they showed what an inspired team looks like as compared to the uninspired team, which Jordan sends out there game after game.
They were hustling on defense, hitting the boards and playing with passion. They were pushing the ball like they should have been doing all year long.
This is not a half-court team, they have more athletes than they have shooters or passers. This squad should be out their running the floor every chance they get.
Also if Jordan knew what he was doing, he would tell Andre Iguodala to stop taking all of those three-point shots. Andre had a great game by scoring 30 points but he was 1-7 from three-point range.
He was 11 for 17 otherwise, but messed things up by launching 7 three pointers that didn’t have a prayer.
