The report claims that Favre is well aware of the situation and is still undecided about his return but will take his time about making up his mind.
ESPN also reported that Vikings head coach Brad Childress won’t pressure him to hurry up with his decision because of the possibility of trading for McNabb.
Jeff McLane of Philly.com has reported that the Vikings would be McNabb’s number one destination if he is traded from the Birds, but Les Bowen of Philly.com also talked to McNabb agent Fletcher Smith he denied that report
There has also been a report that the Raiders are willing to trade their Pro Bowl cornerback Nmandi Asomugha to the Eagles for McNabb and another Birds player.
Asomugha’s representatives have denied that report but the Raiders don’t have to make him aware of their trade talks because he’s under contract and doesn’t have any no trade clause.
Eagles head coach Andy Reid is in Utah for the weekend while team president Joe Banner is in Florida, so it doesn’t look like a deal will be done this weekend.
Next week will be another issue because the reports are swirling and many are predicting that some type of deal will be made.
