Andy Reid and the Eagles need somebody to save them, now.¬† They’ve let the cat out of the bag regarding trading Donovan McNabb, but they may not be able to put together a deal in time for the draft.
The Ram deal talk seems to be history and now we’re talking about the Raiders being the leaders in pursuit of number five.¬† We know he doesn’t want to go there.
If the Eagles were thinking of getting rid of McNabb this off season, shouldn’t they have made that decision right after the playoff loss to the Cowboys.
Why have they taken so long to get in the game?
Right now it looks like the Birds might have musplayed their “quarterback” hand but all they need is one team to do business with.
Is there any chance in McNabb wanting to play for the Raiders?  I doubt it as long as Al Davis is running things.
The preseason will have started by the time Minnesota knows what’s happening with their quarterback situation.
Buffalo’s Ralph Wilson might not want to give McNabb the kind of money he wants in an extension and McNabb might not be interested in signing an extension with them.
Who knows they might wind up trading him and getting a box of unsigned football cards for him?
