According to Jeff McLane of Philly.com who is at the owners meetings in Olrando, Andy Reid says he’s listening to offers for all of the quarterbacks but hasn’t heard anything yet that excites him.
Again, the big fella said McNabb is still his starter, Kolb is the backup and Vick is the third guy in line.
He also said veteran linebacker Jeremiah Trotter won’t be back.
Reid says veteran center Jamaal Jackson will miss most of training camp, which I think increases the chances that Florida center, Maurkice Pouncey, who is rated the best in the draft could be the Eagles choice in the first round.
McLane also reports that Reid said Victor Abiamiri had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.
The Eagles head coach said teams have expressed interest in cornerback Sheldon Brown.¬† I see this as a move by the Birds to let people know he’s available.
Read into these comments everything you want because this is the time of the year when teams are playing games during interviews as they try to trick other teams in the league.
