Going by past tendencies,
the Eagles have always valued CB’s, OT’s as the most difficult postions to fill (as many other teams
do as well)
I think Eagles at #24 go for 1)K Wilson 2)D McCortney or 3) K Jackson in this order
then at # 37 they will go for OT’s R Saffold or C BRown if they are still on the board, if not, then I think they look at Safety N Allen (who will probably be gone by then) so then it may dip down to OLB’s J Hughes or possibly ILB S Lee or a top-rated DT’s
A QB selections won’t come until one of their 3rd Rd or 4th Round selctions

If they actually were to draft Tebow before round 4, after vomiting, I would promptly turn off the TV and refuse to watch the eagles until the whole staff was fired.

Even I don’t think Reid is dumb enough to take Tebow, while our defense looks like swiss cheese.

What are the chances that they sign Sharper? They could concentrate on OL, DE, CB or LB in the draft.

I like your thinking Bugsy, but there is noway they sign sharper. They will stubbornly stick to their “youth movement” and try to fill EVERY hole with untested and cheap rookies. Don’t worry though, Reid will take a third string tackle and convert him to safety!

Taking Tebow: An opinion-

Tim Tebow will be gone in the middle of the first round. He is a High Character guy that brings a loyal fan base and OWNERS will feel good (at least for 2-3 years) about bringing him in to be the FACE of the franchize. I assure all haters that he will be a better investment at the QB position than Jamarcus Russel has been.

Tebow is a much better risk for teams that fear the following:

Having the Next Mike Vick, Ben Roethlessberger or Ryan Leaf. Tebow will remain classy.

Tebow is likely a guy Andy Reid would like except that he will not be available late enough. I predict that the Jacksonville Jaguars take him with their first pick if he gets past Seattle.

Any coach who thinks he is a coach and has a year or two (IE an Incumbant Veteran) will think he can make this guy a Pro Quarterback.

Kyle Wilson or McCourty will start from day one over Ellis Hobbs so i wouldn’t have a problem with that. For sheer pass rush terror Pierre would be terrific but this team needs to nail each and every pick they have in the first three rounds in order for this not to be a rebuilding year. Finally I live in Jacksonville which we philly transplants call Tebowville trust me I would be honored if my kids grew up with half the character that kid has, but the Eagles cannot waste picks.

MattDaddy says…The Eagles select Tim Tebow in the first round.

Come on now that is a funny Paulman impersonation.

Friend of mine lives in Boise and is a life long Boise State Broncos fan. Said that Kyle Wilson is an outstanding player, was always the best player on the field during every game he played in, is super fast, and is the most high character guy you will ever find. Sounds like an Andy Reid type of guy to me!!!

They need to trade up and get Earl Thomas. If not, I’d be ok with Pouncey to take over for that stiff Jamal Jackson.

Tim Teebow? Seriously if that happens I will quit being an Eagles fan

While they desparately need help on defense, I think they will take Pouncey or Iupati if they are there. Andy loves O-linemen and Jamaal Jackson has an ACL, which usually takes two years to fully heal. Pouncey would fix the Center position for a decade. I think their O-line is weak. Herreman’s is the only keeper. Peters is overrated. MJG is only a backup. Winston Justice is average. Stacy Andrews – who knows? Nick Cole is adequate. No studs like the Sean Andrews when he played or Runyan/Thomas back in the day.

I dont care as long as its not a damn OLineman. This defense needs HELP. They need a CB and a S. M Jackson isnt the answer at S. And Hobbs and Hanson are both like 5″9 they need to get some help at both positions. And before anyone says Hobbs started for the Pats dont go there they have a totally different defense the Eagles they dont rely on the CBs as much as the Eagles do. The Birds need good CBs so they can blitz cuz they aint getting no pass rush from this dline.
