The NFL schedulers obviously believe Brett Favre is coming back for another year because the season will begin with the Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints hosting the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night to Kickoff the 2010 NFL season.
It will be a rematch between for Favre with Drew Brees leading the Saints against the 40-year old grandfather, who refuses to hang it up,  as he tries to lead the Vikings to the Super Bowl.
If Favre were to decide to retire it would force the NFL, the Minnesota Vikings and Brad Childress in particular to clean a lot of egg off of their faces.
The rest of the schedule will be announced later tonight.
Of course Philadelphia fans are anxious to see when Donovan McNabb will lead his Washington Redskins squad up 95 to take on the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.
It will surely be the game of the week in the league each time they meet in the upcoming season.
Like or dislike the trade of McNabb to the Redskins, you can’t say it’ll be boring when the two teams battle during the season.
