NFL Hall of Fame New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor has been arrested in a rape investigation.  He was taken into custody by the Town of Ramapo police.
Taylor is being accused of raping a 15 year old in the Holiday Inn Holidome Hotel in Suffern, New York.
The details have not been released but reports have stated that the rape occurred this morning.
Taylor, who is 51 years of age has not made any public statements.¬† A news conference is expected to take place later in the afternoon on Thursday and it’s supposed to reveal more details about the charges.
According to numerous reports, Taylor will be charged with third-degree rape.  The young lady is reported to be a runaway, who was beaten during the assault.
It’s also reported that she was controlled by a pimp.
If he indeed is found guilty, Lawrence Taylor hould get whatever legal consequences that will come his way which will be severe and major Jail Time if Convicted …
As far as the NFL is concerned, he should be removed from the Hall oF Fame and whatever other
benefits he has being associated with NFL and should be banished for any activities to due with the NY Giants or the NFL… This guy has been nothing but a train wreck since his Collegiate Days and has always had his baggage and problems swept under the carpet because of who he is…

One thing to keep in mind, being a scumbag,impolite,a real jerk or even conducting in some criminal behavior is one thing.. but to be sexually abusing women (and in this case maybe a “minor”) there is just no tolerance for this kind of behavior in todays soceity or todays NFL
