Here are my picks.

I think the Eagles will play well in their first game, but the Pack will come out on top.  Green Bay wins 26-21.

I’ve got the Giants getting some revenge on the Carolina Panthers who embarrassed them at the end of the 2009 season.  New York wins 31-14.

I’ve got Dolphins over Buffalo in a close one.  Miami wins 14-13.

Pittsburgh will go to battle without starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.  Atlanta will be able to do more offensively.  Atlanta wins 23-17.

The Bears should be able to put enough points on the board to beat the Lions.  Chicago wins 28-13.

The Bengals and the Patriots will have a good one in New England.  Cincinnati wins 38-35.

Cleveland will find a way to beat the Buccaneers.  Cleveland wins 20-17.

Jacksonville is horrible and that’s why Denver will start out the season with a win.  Denver wins 27-10.

Houston has improved so much that they will upset the Colts.  Houston wins 34-31.

The Titans will beat the Raiders in a low-scoring game.  Tennessee wins 13-6.

The Niners will beat up the Seahawks for their first win.  San Francisco wins 24-10.

The Cardinals will beat the Rams.  Arizona 26-7.

Washington’s defense will lead the way in a low-scoring game.  Washington wins 13-10.

Ravens will find a way to beat the Jets.  Baltimore wins 23-19.

The Chargers will destroy the Chiefs.  San Diego wins 41-17.

I understand the game and all, but does any true eagles fan really have faith in the eagles to beat the packers? I do, and thats why; though I respect picks and all that mess, I’ll never root against my eagles. I’ll pick every team out there etc, but I’ll never root against my birds. I’m just saying. The eagles will beat the packers. Be a true fan of your team “no excuses”.

Dolphins over Bills (Bills suck)
Lions over Bears (upset game)
Titans over Raiders (this is a iffy game)
Patriots over Bengals (patriots win the SB this year)
Giants over Panthers- (Giants will win the NFC this year)
Steelers over Falcons (steelers find a way to win with defense)
Bucs over Browns (sloppy game)
Broncos over jags (to be the jags all you gotta do is stop Drew)
Texans over Colts (Upset game number 2)
49ers over Seahawks (Seahawks look like they may get the first pick in the 2011 draft)
Eagles over Packers (upset game number 3)
Cowboys over Redskins (should be a defensive game)
Jets over Ravens (Jets are just too good of a defense and they are at home)
Chargers over Chiefs (Should be a blow out)

Rocko when making picks you cant go by being a fan you have to put that aside because you want to win. One thing I noticed about winning a football pool is calling the upset games. Theres always at least 1 upset game every week so if you call it chances are youll win.

Rocko, just playing to win. reality is the eagles will not go 16-0 this season and green bay has a tightend which will give the eagles fits all day unfortunatley. until the eagles prove they can defend a skilled tightend i can not pick them in a game like this. i hope i am wrong because i am as big an eagles fan as anyone. i pick the eagles to lose and they win, then i am happy at the end of the day.

good point vricchini. likely won’t make a difference for my score but should someone lose by one…..

Rocko, not thinking your team will win is not the same as rooting against them. What you think will happen is not the same as what you want to happen. It that really hard to understand? I’m sorry I don’t have the eagles going 16-0 this year. Guess anyone who expects to lose some games isn’t a real fan. Riiiiiiiiiiiight.

Garbage Scorp. I quoted “though I respect picks and all that mess, I’ll never root against my eagles. I’ll pick every team out there etc, but I’ll never root against my birds”. I here what everyone else is saying, I’m just saying I never will root against my birds. Thats all. “Pick em Rack, Rack Pick em, Pick em Rack Rack Pick em”! I’ll never think my team will not win. Though that may seem impossible/crazy etc. It doesn’t matter, EAGLEZ all the way baby! Play on, don’t let me spoil the fun. Oh yeah, I’ll NEVER PUT ASIDE being a fan for tournament picks and I believe our defense can shut down Finley.

I went out on the Packers home page and they said “the 60 title game in Philly was historic for both sides.”
“The Eagles never won another crown while the Packers never lost another post season game under
Lombardy”
