Kevin Kolb Hasn’t Proven He Can Play After Being Pressured And Hit

Kevin Kolb still has a chance to be a good NFL quarterback. Many quality quarterbacks have struggled before they got the hang of playing in the NFL

Still, I can’t guarantee that he will ever be a good NFL quarterback, but I also can’t guarantee that he won’t be a good one.  We just don’t know yet, it’s too early.  There are so many qualities needed that it’s impossible to be sure about his future success.

As for today’s performance, he was horrible in the first half. I mean pathetic, but it was just one half of one game.  He was 5-10 for 24 yards and he had three of his throws which should have been interceptions were dropped.

That’s how he was this preseason where about 20 to 30% of his throws are interception material.

Still, don’t be in a rush to make a final judgment.  We haven’t seen enough of Kolb to give up on him, but maybe this performance will stop people from trying to put him in the Hall of Fame before he’s even played a full season.  His poor performance should be critcized in the same way that Donovan McNabb would have been criticized if he had played so poorly.

All of the talk about how he does this better than McNabb and he does that better than Donovan McNabb was all nonsense.  Doing things in practice with a red “Don’t Hit The QB” jersey on is one thing, but doing in a game with big, violent pass rushers trying to kill you is another.

In practice and in the games, Kolb has not showed me during the four years he’s been here that he can read the blitz consistently, then make the right adjustment with the football.  When you speed up his decision-making he makes mistakes.

You can talk all day about getting rid of the ball early and being accurate, but if you’re throwing the ball to a covered receiver or breaking into a panic when you’re under pressure, you’re going to have problems as an NFL quarterback.

This is what he did during the preseason after he started to get hit and it’s what he did in the first game against the Green Bay Packers.  He had some horrendous practices and I told you about it here.  I wasn’t shocked that he played poorly because I’ve seen him practicing poorly.

As I have communicated numerous times, the most important element of an NFL quarterback is his decision-making ability.  An NFL signal-caller has to make many split-second decisions.  You have to be able to take huge blows from pass rushers, yet stand strong in the pocket, decipher the coverages then decide which of your five receivers is open and get him the football.  That’s what NFL quarterbacking involves.

Kolb needs time to try to develop in these areas because he’s not there right now.    Nobody can guarantee that he will ever develop in those skills.

Andy Reid and Marty Mornhinweg work with him everyday but they can’t guarantee that his decision-making abilities are going to improve drastically over time. Only time will tell.

I’m very concerned that this young quarterback doesn’t seem to play well when he’s pressured and hit. Some guys are awakened when they’re hit, but others can’t take the physical pounding.  So far, Kolb doesn’t respond well when he is hit.

There’s no question that his play has gone backwards since that Bengals game when he started to get pounded.  You could see that the Packers sent the house against him early.  They saw what happened to him in those preseason games.

Guess what everybody else on the schedule is going to do.

I still think he has a chance to be a good NFL quarterback, but he must find a way to respond when the going get tough.

I thought it was convenient that he had a concussion and was unable to play in the second half.

Mcnabb squad beat the Cowboys…the same team that molested our squad at the end of last season.

Could you imagine if that was Demarcus Ware bearing down on Kolb tonight?

Kolb is a damn Bum!

“G” please give an honest assessment based off of what you’ve seen behind close doors and the players opinion on Kolb,…Is there a way the organization can admit their wrong and just move on?

Are we stuck with this bum because this organizations stubborness to admit mistakes? Should we have extended Vick instead of this damn Bum? Did Kolb look like a boy in a man’s game?

What you think “G”?

Songs I like McNabb as much as anyone but you cant blast Kolb already. Its one game. One half of one game. Kolb did not look good at all even when he wasnt get pressured, but its ONE game. Typical Andy Reid/Marty Mornhiweg bad play calling and the offensive line was not great. Even the defense got manhandled a bit against the Packers run BUT we cant go crazy calling Kolb a bum yet. That sounds just as crazy as all the people in local sports talk radio (fans and callers) that were already declaring Kolb a more accurate passer and better able to run the offense than McNabb. Everyone needs to take a breather and give Kolb a chance to prove how he is either way good or bad. If the Eagles had won and Kolb looked good these same people would have been declaring how much better than McNabb he is so lets just chill.

(From a non philly reporter) “Eagles have bigger problems than QB”
There will be no quarterback controversy in Philadelphia.
Despite a lackluster effort from starter Kevin Kolb, the fourth-year pro will start next week’s game at Detroit, coach Andy Reid confirmed at his press conference after Sunday’s 27-20 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Kolb struggled, going 5-for-10 for just 24 yards, but he didn’t get much help from his teammates. His receivers appeared to have trouble getting open in the first half, so Kolb held on to the ball a little longer than usual. He was willing to stay in the pocket to throw the ball instead of running away, however.

Kolb left the game in the first half with a concussion and did not return. Veteran quarterback Michael Vick replaced him and played fairly well, completing 16 of 24 passes for 175 yards and a touchdown and rushed 11 times for 103 yards, including a 31-yard burst.

“I’m just proud of the way Michael played in the game,” Reid said in response to being asked if Vick or Kolb would start next week.

Vick clearly has all of his speed back after being out for two seasons because of his role in a dogfighting ring. His 103 yards on the ground topped all Eagles rushers.

While Vick made some errant passes, he also made some great throws on the run. One thing that Vick must do, though, is throw the ball higher and to the correct shoulder of his intended receivers. He made several low throws, but his receivers made nice adjustments.

Interestingly, the Green Bay defensive backs seemed to back off a bit, giving the Philadelphia receivers room to run their routes. The Packers clearly did not want to give up a big play.

Overall, you have to give Philadelphia credit for their effort in mounting a nice comeback that eventually fell short. Despite losing several key players from both sides of the ball, the team never gave up.

Lost during the game were key players such as Kolb, FB Leonard Weaver (knee), C Jamaal Jackson (elbow), LT Jason Peters (knee), and MLB Stewart Bradley (concussion).

Peters returned to the game. Jackson likely will be lost for the season due to a torn biceps. Weaver suffered an ACL injury. Both players will have MRI exams on Monday to determine the full extent of their injuries

umm did ya watch mcnabb, he did not play well either. He had the same problems with the cowboys as he did before. Same red zone issues. Same low balling throws. They were no offensive touchdowns. And a the field goals were set up primarily by Portis. So get some facts before you want to stroke mcnabb.

By the way….. What the hell was with the play calling today? Kolb did play ridiculously poor but the play calling in the first half was appauling. We had damn near no intermediary routes, something the eagles prided themselves on with mcnabb. The runs were predictable. Only one pass in the first half to celek. I can’t remember any real screens to mccoy. Riley Cooper is a big body threat where was he? The first half looked more like the raiders playbook than the eagles.

I don’t like saying this because it is just week one, If this team loses because of coaching, like it did today, for the rest of the season, Then andy reid really, really needs to go.

Troy, first of all…get the hell out of here. This is not about Mcnabb….He’s fine…it’s about this organization telling us Kolb’s ready to take over and this offense will be effiecent under Kolb. As an Eagles fan I don’t have to see another second of this damn Bum to make an assessment. I have played sports and have been a fan of this team for 3 decades and know a damn bum when I see one. This guy didn’t give us one positive thing to look forward to and football is about winning with the players that give us the best chance to win. Right now that player is Vick and we shouldn’t have to suffer a whole season in a wide open NFC to find out what we know already.

Sit his ass down and let him compete for the job next preseason which should have been the case this year. If he don’t know how to get TD’s….sit his ass down until he figure it out. We have suffered long enough,,…the other option is let him play so we can get a top 5 pick next year then fire his tired ass along with Reid and bring a winning coach like Cowher in. Reid have taken this team as far a he can take it.

Dude, G. You were spot-on in most of your articles leading up to the game on what the Eagles had to be concerned about and what to expect from the Packers. Great insight. I think Kolb has looked scared from his first live game snap to his last. I just don’t see that “it” factor with this guy. Let Vick start the next 15 and groom Kafka. I already think Kafka’s a better Q than Kolb.

Here’s the excuses we’re using for the Bum…injuries, playcalling, weather, new era….look folks..Mcnabb flourished as a top QB in spite of Andy’s deficiencies as a play caller. Vick came in and almost pulled off an upset in spite of the playcalling and don’t give me the BS talk that greenbay was in soft coverages the 2nd half…they were agressive yet Vick was able to escape and make plays and if Kolb was in for those same plays he would have gotten killed. You dumb ass eagles fans with excuses is the reason we’re losers…do you want to win a SB? Stop making excuses and tell it like it is.
stop looking for a silver lining where there is none.
we have a good team with a terrible QB in Kolb.

Obviously, Kolb, the entire Offense and it’s Coaches (AR & MM) layed a big time egg on a Critical Opening Game against a strong NFC Playoff Compeitit and especially at home.
Blame needs to be spread around the entire group, With the Entire offense struggling to get any drives going in the 1 st quarter, does anyone think that it helps the Offense or QB Kol by yanking him and out every coupld of plays… The Entire offense needs to get into some type of rhythm so how can you do when cahning QB’s every 3rd/4th play.. I would rather Vick come in to run an entire series or 2 each half, but not for every 3rd down play..
I read another Poster’s comments about it’s ok, ot’s only the first game and other good teams lost too like the Colts,Bengals.. but those those teams lost on the road to playoff type of teams..
The Eagles I think suffered more than just a game in the loss column.. They still have not developed and offensive consistency with Kolb as the Starter. D-Jax/Celek were no where to be found in the 1st half and Celek not unitl the 4th quarter. there is no other legitimate NFL Fullback on the roster to back-up and now likely to replace Weaver, you can sign a guy Monday but it will take them a good 2-3 weeks to get that player up to speed and learn the playbook, The Fullback in the Eagles System is primarirly used as a pass blocker and receiver out of the backfield… Everyone knew all off-season and by summer (especially when Nick Cole was injured) that there was a liability and need at Center. I think McGlynn played pretty good and better than a still hurting J Jackson did who really had no business even suiting up and attempting to play, now he’s hurt more and probably for the season…
Was anyone surprised that DE A Barnes (picked up a week ago) played lots of snaps and played pretty well while D Tapp and Teo Neisham were on the Inactive list. Is Barnes that good or is TApp just a bust and Teo just not physically mature yet to play at a NFL level just yet…Did anyone else notice how far DT M Patterson’s play has slipped, did he do anything in today’s game..
He gets replaced every 3rd Dowbn he’s out, A Dixon rotates with him almost every other series…
so this is former 1st Rd pick with a niec size contradt who basically plays 1st and sometimes 2nd Down…Is this worth a roster spot.. Why can other teams have big 300lb DT’s attack and pass-rush while the Eagles always seem to have to pull their big DT’s off the fieldf in passing situations only to be only be replaced by 260-275 lbs players..(because they have a good motor..high energy..)
Next week will not get any easier though, Detroit will be without starter M Stafford who injured his shoulder, the biggest game of their season is next week up in Detroit, if they don’t come out with a win, this season could get real ugly, real quick…

Paul Man….answer this question…because I have a lot of BS qoutes you’ve made this year that you’ll soon be called on.

Do you think opposing defenses would rather play against Vick or Kolb?

Paul Mancini
Paul Mancini
September 13, 2010 1:49 am

Depends on the defense, But With Kolb only starting 3 games in his NFL Career, I would say 99 %of any coach would rather face Kolb as opposed to VIck who has started over 75 games.
As far as game planning, I think it’s proabably easier to do against a pcoket-passer versus a scramlbing player like Vick is..Playing Vick is not the answer though for they are going to do much this year anyways, and Vick will be a goner after the season as a Free-Agent and will not be resigned, so you may as well play Kolb to see what he can do.

Paul Mancini
Paul Mancini
September 13, 2010 1:58 am

Vick played well but after being up by 17 points, the Packers pulled back a little bit, and went into asoft cover 2 zone and were not blitzing much, I think they did not want to embarras Coach AR who has a lot of friends that Packer Coaching staff. But it was good to see VIck throw the ball and get some confidence between him and his receivers.. Did you note the CB who completetly shut down D-JAx in the 1st Half, was playing off and in a Cover 2 most of the 4th quarter..(this was the same time that D-Jax and MAcling started to catch some ball)
But after about 40 minutes of ball, the Packers were killing the Eagles 27-10 and the game was for all purposes in my book, the D coulnd not stop their short accuracte passing game and their back-up RB’s were running right up the gut against this smallish D as often happens late in games..
what does everyone think of back-up LB O Gaither…I always saw him like 6-7 yards down the field & away from the ball and play.. I think he is afraid of contact anymore and is not the player he was 2-3 years ago, I rather see Cheney in there is Bradely is out

They have a better chance of winning the game.

ok ..let’s go back to a few posts.

1. last week I looked at the players that have come back from Jamaal Jackson’s injury and the chances of him getting reinjured was great. ..he’s out for the season. If I can google this injury and tell it takes 12 months to even think about playing center on a major knee surgery, there’s no excuse for this FO, and that’s no excuse for Kolb because Vick would have won this game if he was the starter.

2 weeks ago, I made a comment about the Eagles going with Hobbs on the cheap instead of signing a proven leader Sheldon Brown….after we gained momentum with Vick …Hobb’s gives away a wide open touchdown…man…Did he look like an injured Brown against the Cowboys? Schill could a healthy Brown do better?

You had these Eagle losers on here talking about the special teams coach…”newsflash” coaches don’t play…..I make great lemonade,,,,but if you give me onions to squeeze it won’t taste like lemonade. wake the hell up!

Dick Jauron can’t turn Hobbs into Sheldon Brown. neither can a coach make bad players ..great players.

Reid is one of the worse game day coaches in the league and it’s too late to believe he’ll be anything different than what we’ve seen fo over a decade. Different QB,…same result.

Kolb, flat out can not play…it don’t take a season to know a player….a competitor would have played the whole game and if you think he had an concussion….I’ll sell you the schuylkill for 300 bucks.

Take that damn shovel pass out of the playbook…..it’s ran everytime you’re on the goalline!!!!

I am not going to look at the deficiencies on the offensive line as an excuse for Kolb’s play…..This team knew there were problems yet ignored the line in the draft and free agency…..Mcnabb eluded many lineman and Vick almost brought the team back with a line minus Jamaal Jackson.

You losers that mention Brady, and Manning when speaking about Kolb’s future…just stop it. He is worse than Hoying and if this coach continue with Kolb he will lose the team. Now, if he was able to let go a possible HOF QB to save his rear end,,,this deer in the headlights should be easy to dump..

We were told that the tight end coverage would be better with Bradley in at MLB..”newsflash” the year he was injured was supposed to be the year we’d know if he was ready for prime time and he never really showed he was ready to be the guy. IT NEVER HAPPENED!….If Vick start the rest of the season we’ll be 9-7…if they stay with the Kolb experiment without using Vick to bail him out, we’ll go 4-12……..Down 2 games from my original prediction.

Vick is gone after this season SOngs, plain and simple…
Owner Lurie would not approve another contract with him (regardless on what spin they put on it)
they deciced this past off-season that they are moving foward in th efutire with Kolb as their QB.
They are not goign to change gears after 1 poor half of football, In fact, they will most likely stay with
him all season unless he’s injured, Coach Ar is signed thru 2012 and Lurie will not do anything until then. Coach Ar has this year to build a new roster (which they have done) and need to make a serious playoff run by 2011 (which is still to be determined), this year, I hate to say, is kinda of like a practice year thoug I belive DC McDremott is on the hot seat and will be made the Scape Goat when the Eagles falter in 2010…

Songs, I couldn’t have said it any better than you did bro. You’re exactly correct. all the Kolb lovers are too passive instead of admitting he’s garbage. As a fan, I have sat through numerous eagle Qb’s only to see the same result – the coach gets fired (AR needs to get fired), and the bums he brought in leave along with him. Knowing AR he will put Kolb back n ASAP, only to the disliking of the fans because of his stubborness, and I also don’t want to go through a full season of losing and hearing Reids; “players in a better position” speech. Vick is our answer now, and I actually he was going to be #5’s heir apparent when we first brought him in. 5 hid AR’s deficiencies as a poor coach and now the mask has been uncovered. By the way, I just got off work and the “simple a– is tap dancing” comment was hilarious! Sometimes Paul, you have to give it straight up with no chaser buddy.

Man o man, I had all intentions of being humble this morning, but after reading some of these posts, that’s out the window.

Why is it that EVERYTHING was McNabb’s fault and NOTHING is Kolb’s fault? This is utterly ridiculous. Kolb couldn’t score during the pre-season. We’re talking about the pre-season – not games, not games, the pre-season.

Now, suddenly, there’s blame for everyone on the offense. We’re talking EVERYONE, not the QB, not the QB, but EVERYONE. DeSean Jackson is an all-pro receiver. Celek a top tight end, Maclin a up and coming receiver and McCoy’s a 2nd year runnings back. If McNabb broke the Eagles scoring record with the same team, what’s the difference here? How is it NOW EVERYONE’S fault? Kolb can’t even complete a pass to his “many weapons.” Yet, there’s plenty of blame to go around?

Actually, there is plenty of blame to go around – around Kolb. You could rap blame around 30 or 40 times. The guy is not elusive and can’t out-run linemen., He throws the ball up for grabs – you probably consider that “gunslinging,” but in the NFL that’s a recipe for disaster. Saw some gopher balls too.

I’ve been reading about accuracy, yards after the catch, and how Kolb would make things easier for the linemen because of his ability to quickly read defenses and get rid of the ball. What bothers me is there’s been NO HINT OF ANY OF THAT. I haven’t seen one pass in stride, and no yards after any catch, unless you count the interceptions.

That a QB with ESCAPABILITY came in and played well, says a lpt, It says that Kolb would need a “perfect offense” to play for Reid. Everything would have to be perfect. We’d need all-pro linemen, all-pro receivers, all-pro tight end, all pro-defense and every game would have to be played at home against the West Catholic Burrs.

Kolb looked like an all-pro with his red jersey, but we were wearing green yesterday. Actually, Kolb didn’t look like an all-pro even with his red jersey.

I’ve already heard excuses (during the pre-season); We didn’t game plan, etc. No one’s calling Kolb on that crap.

Kolb was acquired with a 1st round draft choice and he’s had 3 years to learn the offense. After all that, Kolb -3 yards passing for most of the first half and did his very best to complete more passes to the Packers, than to the Eagles.

No QB who was brought along under those circumstances, should look THAT bad. Kolb showed nothing to inspire confidence. Even the McNabb haters on WIP (including Angelo) are admitting that Kolb sucks.

As for being up by 17 points. Some of you guys act like they were up by 40. 17 is nothing.

Besides, who was responsible for the 10 points we had scored? It was Vick. So, at the very least, the Packers were aware that Vick was the only one moving the team, prior to Kolb’s injury.

No, they didn’t relax. The couldn’t catch Vick and it created opportunities for other players. I’m not a Vick fan, but even he was able to get something accomplished.

I think it’s too early to judge but at the same time all those folks that gushed so much over what he can do better than a certain QB need to shut up. Remember that talk “He’s going to get the ball out quicker which helps the o-line”, “He more accurate and can hit the receiver in stride”. Well we saw none of that. So it’s too early to judge either way. Here’s the thing, Vick will probably be able to win more games right now with this o-line and no fullback. So how long do you take to let Kolb “mature”? Do you let him go the full season no matter how bad he plays at time or do you go Vick after 2-3 bad performances. I think if you let Kolb play the entire season even when he’s stinkin up the joint, that clearly says, we weren’t trying to win this year. If you go Vick after a couple games, that clearly says we want to win now and putting the best player out there. The next couple weeks will be interesting. Worst case scenario for Kolb is that he can’t play the next week or 2, Vick wins those games and Kolb comes back to start against Washington and he plays terrible and we lose to McNabb and the skins on our field. That’s the worst thing that can happen to him because if something like that happens the chants for Vick will get louder. It’s easy to be the backup when you’re backing up a QB that the city is lukewarm on. Now you’re the #1 guy in a city that will turn on you very quickly. Big difference.

He had had three full games as a starter in which he had a full week of practice before the game to prepare. In those three games he has had one good one, a mediocre one and a really bad one. And I don’t wanna hear that he had two 300 yard games. The Saints game was well out of hand and the Saints were no longer playing all their starters. The Kansas City game might as well have been a practice squad games because they were notably the worse in the NFL. KOLB IS NOT READY and the EAGLES SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT.

Gotta agree with Gary
Kolb looked the same as he did preseason –pathetic

Coming in for an injured McNabb last year when you knew it was only for a few games is NOT the same as being named the starter and having McNabb traded

His head is not right and I doubt it will ever be

He doesn’t show any signs of mental character that a starter in the NFL needs

It is going to be a trying future unless somehow Kafka develops

Vick can’t keep playing with all that running even if he replaces Kolb

I’m right here. I say it’s too early. Kolb might turn out to be a bust, and he might turn this whole perception around and become a good QB for the Eagles. But that will be decided throughout the course of this season. He only played one half so far this season. Aaron Rodgers didn’t have much of a better first half than Kolb did. I’m not saying Kolb is Rodgers, just that you guys are all overreacting and jumping to conclusions. If the Eagles win the next few games and Kolb starts to play well, none of the Greenbay game or any of this talk will matter at all.

GCobb, you have to let the McNabb stuff go ….. let it go. He’s gone. He didn’t get it done. And if Kolb doesn’t get it done, it doesn’t make McNabb any better. It just means neither could get it done…. Songsrme2, no one wanted Vick the last two years so team apparently do not fear him very much……

Kolb sucked in the preseason as well with no Td’s. Reid is the problem for annointing him the Qb after they traded fabulous 5. This is the most ridiculous coaching staff in the entire NFL. There was no qb competition during the offseason and we really need a coach who will seriously put his best players on the field to win. Kolb is not one of them and Vick is. I can’t see any other coach in the league who would be this selfish at the cost of his team and his fans. I’m starting to think that if Reid or Kolb is here when the contract for djax runs out (if he hasn’t signed an extension by then), then he would leave and go elsewhere to play for true winners. Ask yourself this question, If this were Cowher, Shanahan, Ryan or Belichick, would Kolb be the starting Qb? Reid doesn’t really want to win if he puts kolb over vick back in. If he does, I’ve already prepared for a long season of hit and miss games etc. I’m disgusted by AR and this westcoast offense. We need a new coach and offensive system. It will become useless for me to continue to come here and write if he puts garbage like Kolb back in the game. As a die-hard fan, I seriously mean that. Im tired of wasting my time talking about the same ol same ol. I can already see where the conversations here will be going in merry go round circles talking about the same thing; Reid /kolb. This is starting to be to repetitive talking about the coach and his stupid decisions instead wins and good coaching.

Comparing Sam Bradford’s first game to Kolb’s first as a starter paints the most unbiased picture as far as trying evaluate a freshman QB. Granted, I think Kolb will play better, but it just seems unrealistic to say that he can be a QB that can win a lot of games for you at this point. I said it before and I’ll say it again…Kolb at his best will probably be close to a Ty Detmer or a Koi Detmer and that’s just not good enough if the goal is to win championships.

Vick was flat out the better QB yesterday PERIOD…that much everyone knows for certain. Vick was better in passing situations, gave the offense more options by using more of the playbook and added the X-Factor of being dangerous with his legs. I actually like the fact that he threw lower passes that he did before coming here it may reduce his interception rate over time and it’s a good lesson he learned from McNabb. Keeping the ball low and fast, particularly in high crowd situations, eliminates the possibility of an interception. Will the Eagles really leave themselves stuck with Kolb while watching another QB in midnight green go elsewhere and improve someone else’s team?

To songs and Drummer, no need to worry, It doesn’t even matter if Kolb is good or not, even more important is the fact that KOLB IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO SAVE ANDY REID’S PREDICTABLE FISHER PRICE PLAYCALLING (my first playbook) WHICH MCNABB DID FOR YEARS! If you notice Vick did the same thing yesterday.. To Paulman , you can say Vick is gone next year all you want, Im quite sure that’s what racist ass Philadelphia wants right? Ask yourself this question Lurie still is in this business to make a profit, Andy Reid, if you haven’t noticed loves quarterbacks who are mobile right? Don’t you think Andy can hide behind Vick the same way number 5 cover AR for almost a decade? Kolb may start to get reoccurring concussions, so far he hasn’t shown he can last a game much less a season, So if Vick is outta here like you keep saying Paulman, Who are the Eagles gonna go with, Kolb? Oh and by the way, Kolb is not even the second best QB on the team. Kafka is. Ahem! Times yours…..

“Guess what everybody else on the schedule is going to do.”

Well said G.Cobb as always and thats exactly my point. Coaches and Coordinators aren’t going to give two craps about Andy Reid’s vision for the future of this team. They aren’t going to gameplan with the idea of taking it easy because Kolb is “in training”. They are going to come out each week and play smash mouth football against this team.

P.s. Thanks G.Cobb for not drinking the Kolb-Aid and keepin it real. :oP
