LeSean McCoy Needs To Keep The Details To Himself

Andy Reid and his staff need to have a talk with running back LeSean McCoy or invite the Lions to their practices, so they can see exactly what they’re going to do on Sunday?  Don’t these guys know how to keep some things to themselves?

First you’ve got DeSean Jackson telling the media that the game plan has been simplified.  If they left it at that there would be no problem.

McCoy then lets everybody know about all the running plays that the coaches have put in.

“We have a lot of running plays in this gameplan,” McCoy said yesterday. “I won’t say it’s different” for the running backs, with Vick under center instead of Kolb. “They definitely have two different styles, but it kind of feels the same, with Kevin or Mike in there . . . I’m anxious to see how it plays out, a whole week of gameplanning for Mike; a [defense] always has to have a gameplan for Vick . . . Guys gameplanning for Mike might open up some lanes for us, even in the passing game; I’m sure [a defense] has to take guys out of their normal positions” to contain him.”
Michael Vick played the veteran role by talking but giving up no details.  “Our objective is to go out and attack,” Vick Philly.com after yesterday’s workout.  “That’s what we’re going to go out and do. I feel good, feel comfortable with the gameplan, excited about the opportunity, and just want to go out and try to get that first win.”

McCoy revelation about the Eagles putting in a lot of running plays isn’t going to win or lose the game on Sunday but it doesn’t help the Birds by giving the Lions any tips of what they’re going to do.

Its really an non issue! I wouldn’t be suprised if Reid and co. still calls for 65% drop backs. Vick my have a lot of scramble yards. I doubt it very seriously if they will ever run much. This line is horrible at pass blocking or run blocking.

This is good…a well balanced attack with all these weapons with a quarterback that can beat you with his arm as well as his legs…

The players are excited about Vick and I’m keeping a close look on this organization between now and next season…If Vick light things up giving this team a winning record and they turn it back to Kolb that’s telling..Now, if they stay with Vick and make the playoffs and trade him and keep Kolb that will be all I need to see. That will be the last day this team would get a dime from me or my family going forward and I’ll burn all my Eagles memorabilia and go with a winning organization. I can not take blatant racism.

I’d like too take a look at some of your memorabilla and swing a deal before you have your bon-fire Songs.

They’ll kill the Lions.Book it.

This whole issue is over the top as usual…..Kolbs the qb of this team and the locker room knows it,the coachs know it,Vick knows it,Kev knows it…so why dont we just except it. Dude got slammedin the first game, sux, and we have too run with our back-up. Just so happens he’s the best back-up in hte league and will generate all kindsa b.s.. Rise above it and lets talk about a W and getthissquad back on track. Same people who wanna give up on him where the people who wanted tioo run with AJ(PICK MACHINE)Feely..nuff said.

Go Birds.

I don’t care how many running plays they put in there, it only matter how many they use. Maybe McCoy is saying that because of the number of carries he had. Anything more than what he had would be considered them adding more run plays, i guess. But I will say they need to just stop talking. No one needs to hear that the plan will be simplified or there will be more running plays put in there. Just go play. And Ernie Sims needs to shut up too.

Lions win 23-21 on a late TD by 3rd String Drew Stanton who hits TE Sheffle in the corner of the
End-Zone as time expires…
The Eagle were up 21-16 with 50 seconds left after QB M Kafka hit Jason Avant with a TD pass,
but the Lions had a 60 yard Kick-off return by T Best and Bobby Aprils ST teams continue to kill this team… Then Stafford throws a 30 yard pass pass down the sidelines in which CB E Hobbs is flagged for interference putting the Lions at the 3 yd line.. Eagles stuff the first 3 attempts by the Lions to score and then on 4th and Goal with 03 seconds on the clock, Stanton finds Sheffler in the corner open over a fallen Q Mickell

Erock, no traffic till 5:12pm from Cottman to Street Road, disabled trailor in the middle/right hand lanes. You will have 3 tackles on Defense, one will be signifigant, you will have 2 catches for minimal yardage and 1 drop (no ones perfect). Your team Captian has to do a better job of putting the guys in there where they need to be to make plays this week and you’ll work on that in practice.

Songs: “I can not take blatant racism.” How ridiculous!! Your usual seeing through tinted glasses.
Randall Cunningham, Rodney Pete, Donovan McNabb, Mike Vick. This organization has hired more black QB’s, and used them as the primary QB than any other team in NFL history. The fans never raised a stink when Randall (my favorite Eagles QB) pushed Jaworski (their SB quarterback) out.

Consider also that it was only the Eagles who took on a felon (of color) and became part of a group to help him get re-established as a player in the NFL. Even Vick has noted that publicly. It’s too bad much of your personal life and family revolve around BUSINESS decisions the Eagles make.

Iggles, i agree, leave the racism BS at the door, no one wants to hear it here. We root for the birds, the guys in green that bleed the color red. there is no other colors that matter. leave it at that, I am rooting for Vick this weekend b/c he’s going to light it up for the Eagles not because of the color of his skin. You keep calling everyone else a racist but you’re the only one bringing it up.

Songs bring race into the talk again? How original Songs.

However you are right, these racisits are replacing Bradley with that stiff Gaither. It must be motivated by racists in the organization. It can’t be a pure football move. Racist, racist, racist.

You know, it being Friday and everything, the sting of losing on Sunday isn’t as bad as it was earlier in the week, so I have to say, looking at pictures from the game and seeing the old jerseys and helmets is really great. Just a random thought, but those uniforms were really great to root for. Go Birds!!

I did read that Dawk…he has this year too show me he can fix that or i’m gonna be on bored with some change.HTF do you burn your t.o.’s so fast. How do you not have a crisp hurry up O in place? And on 1st down 2nd down? 3rd down i know you want too make the right call. See something wrong and a mismatch that favors the d then call one.Childress stunk too in the Ship last year. And whats up with that dude…he cant hit the elliptical…he’s a fatboy now. But there should be 1 time out left at the end of a game.

SONGSRME2 racism? really? dude you are the reason y this country is in the sad shape its in. seriously? lemme guess, you were stopped at security in the airport cuz of racism too.

For those who are screaming for Vick to start, what do you think will happen? he’ll take them to the playoffs? Even if that were the case, all that would happen is he’d choke in a big game, same as mcnabb. Although, the real blame should be on reid. finally i’m beginning to hear it from the media,ie playcalling, clock management. the sad part is mcnabb had to go for reid to start recieving the blame. they need to play kolb, for he is an unknown, everyone knows what vick can do, and it has nothing to do with a superbowl, not with reid anyway. The eagles need to learn to run the ball, mix up the playcalling, how many carries did lesean have, even though they were down? Reid is the problem and it won’t change, worst gameday coach in the nfl! Keep the d guessing, it helps the oline, and a young quaterback! Blatant racism! lmao!

Nice picks Paul, I am not an NFC East opponent hater (Uh okay yes I am), I see Houston over Skins, Colts over Giants, and my upset is Bears over cowboys (yeah Cows will most likely beet the bears, but a brtoher can dream can’t he?). Now once again…….. “Dear Eagles Defense: What I would like to see this Sunday, is high flying, zip zapping, air blasting interceptions; body snatching, ground pounding sacks; and just plain ol’ down to earth swearing and crying in the lion’s offensive huddles. Thanks for last week. GOOOOOO Eagles. Don’t underestimate the Lions….just kill em.
