Rollins back in the starting lineup

The Philadelphia Phillies just clinched their fourth straight NL East crown. So what are they doing now? Getting healthier. That’s great news for the Phillies, and awful news for the rest of MLB.

According to Todd Zolecki on Twitter, Jimmy Rollins will make his return to the starting lineup for the first time since September 8th this evening against the Washington Nationals.

“Tonight’s lineup @ WSH: Rollins SS, Ibanez LF, Utley 2B, Howard 1B, Francisco CF, Brown RF, Dobbs 3B, Schneider C, Oswalt P,” Zolecki tweets.

Supposedly, Rollins was good to go for last night’s game, but he was held out due to the poor field conditions. Hopefully, the team does the right thing heading into the playoffs and starts resting some of these guys.

If they lose another game with Rollins in the line-up, then I would bench him and put Valdez back in..
Don’t mess up a good thing…
