Great news, Phillies fans! That guy that hasn’t gotten a hit the entire NLCS and who continually looks lost in every at-bat is back in the lineup for Game 5 against the San Francisco Giants. That’s right, Raul Ibanez is back in left field for tonight’s game.
Jim Salisbury of CSNPhilly.com has the rest of the lineup via Twitter.
“Phils lineup G 5. Vic, Polanco, Utley, Howard, JW, Rollins, Ibanez, Ruiz, Halladay,” he tweets.

I’m not in love with Ben Francisco and I don’t care what arm the pitcher is using to throw the baseball. But, he’s a better option than Ibanez. If nothing else, he gives you a better defensive presence. And what is he going to do, get less hits than zero?
I’ll save my rant on this batting lineup for another day. For now, I just wanted to climb on Ibanez. This is good news because it probably means that he’ll go off tonight just so I can look stupid.
Ditto for the last sentence. He hasn’t exactly gone off, but he did get that third inning going for us.
