Today, Vick And McCoy Go Through Full Workouts

Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy stood on the side as the rest of the team went through the full workout yesterday.  They took part in a segment of the workout, but not the part that involved hitting.

Today, both Vick and McCoy were in full uniforms and took part in the full workouts.  Vick continues to make progress as he recuperates from a cracked rib cartilage.

McCoy hasn’t missed game despite his cracked ribs.  He normally sits out Wednesday’s practice each week and gets in the full pads on Thursdays.

Riley Cooper is back on the practice field and likely to see some action with DeSean Jackson sidelined.  Chad Hall is also expected to see action because of Jackson’s absence.

Jorrick Calvin will be the number one punt and kickoff returner with Jackson out.

awwwww shucks now…That’s what I’m talkin bout..Vick is going to remind everyone real quick that his play was no apparition. Kolb you did well in Vick’s absence but soon we’ll have to ramp it up for the run.

I just do not care anymore who the qb is. It will be one of those two guys, whoever it is should play well. The Oline will make or break whichever plays anyway. This topic has been beaten to death and then some. Andy is going to do what he wants.

Songs love ya brother (most times anyway), See the hand of football faith is moving again for us beloved birds fans. Now we can have Corrick emerge and gain AR’s confidence which will free up DJ when he comes back. We see the benefit of shifty Hall as depth for our WR corps, soon the benefits of Harrison will shine through.

Anyway enough wishful dreaming, just glad that the boys are starting to heal up, hopefully we will be at strength as we move into the fire of our schedule. Keep the faith, push the Good Karma, and if you are scared say so.

As always LONG LIVE THE EAGLES

A silva you are right about it being beaten to death. But I get a kick out of Vick backers. All they kept saying is how the only team Kolb beat last year was K.C. and they sucked. Now Vick beats the Lions and Jags but he’s the next coming. Oh yea one more thing. Atlanta was #1 D in nfc going into last weekend. Just sayin.

The qb play is not a concern to me. I expect either of them to do the job they are paid to do. I personally do not care which one it is, I cannot see why anybody else does either, as long as the job gets done. The Oline is still a concern, they have more to prove to me. The linebackers still need to show more. Those are the positions that bear and deserve the most scrutiny. The qb thing is overblown.

Good to hear Vick,McCoy and Cooper all back getting some reps
There were reports that Vick is running around a bit but still not able to throw much, deep or with any zip
on the ball …

A Silva is right… they are getting such great QB play, so I am not worried either way. I just want to see the defense show up like they did last week. And the continued maturation of McCoy.

Chad Hall? You mean Reno Mahe with plastic surgery. What happened to that big receiver that was supposed to be a special teams ace?

Hey Songs: I hear you are ready to support “Baby Arm”. Is that true?

TCole is a hater! Just wish Mike Vick luck. Trust me Tcole, you want to see Mike Vick as the starter of our Eagles. Trust me son.

And yes, I am a Vick backer because he is MORE OF A THREAT than Kevin Kolb, or as Songs would say…”Baby Arm”. I will stand behind whoever is named the starter because I am a diehard Eagles fan til the death…So die-hard that I want to be buried in a Randall Cunningham Home Jersey when I die. Lol. But yeah, Mike is the man!

Happy to sick Mike Vick getting healthy…don’t play him this week unless an emergency, get him ready for the Colts. As for the you played well against this team, he played well against a better team…that’s all crap. Detroit is much, much better than there record, and Atlanta was not as good as their record. Each game is different. Titans will be a good teslt for Kolb…Question: why does Fox show Kolb’s parents so much? They don’t show Vicks…I’m just saying, what’s up with that. Then again Mike’s family is probably in the stands with the common folk.

Chuck…Roy Kolb probably invites the head of Fox network over for Roasted Pig Dinners….Pigs that Kevin has actually hunted himself. Roy Kolb is like…”If I can get in good with FOX, they will give my son the attention he deserves and create controversy to get his job back!”

Hey I remember seeing McNabb’s parents in the booth enough times and the Mannings or players wives ‘etc etc
The networks always do that if they are there
Of course if you are watching with Biased Eyes you don’t remember that fact

Chuck, if Vick’s parents are sitting in the stands versus the box, the only reason would be that he blew his money when he consistantly broke laws and liked about it to the authorities. And with the exception of McNabb, the networks usually show the parents early in a guys career, at one of his first big starts as a major figure. That’s not the case for Vick, it hasn’t been for years.

Diz, you are starting to act like a real tool. You say you are not against Kolb, then you speak otherwise again and again. You as an eagles fan should be for both of them. Vick is the starter, just not healthy now. That is a fact. Reid might change his mind, he has shown that he will sometimes…but until that happens, vick is the starter.

You have what you want, and you are still whining! WE HEAR YOU! We know your opinion. But now nyou are taking jabs at kolb. He is a player on your team, our team. And its only in your best interest, if you are an eagles fan, to want the best for him. AND Vick. Its not either/or. PERIOD!

Tool? LOL…Look who’s whining. Schiller relax man. Im only fucking with Kevin! LOL. Its fun. And then to see people like you get steamingly mad over it is just fucking hilarious! LOL. Like I said, I do like Kevin. If Vick wasnt on this team, I would have a #4 Jersey on. But thats not the case. LOL.

I come on here to bullshit around Schiller. Do not take everything I am saying seriously. And you’re acting like I’m talking about you and your dad! LOL. I’m talking about Kevin and Roy! LOL. So sit back, have a drink, and relax homie!

Diz, alright, I hear you. But if you’re just bullshitting, then that’s one more piece of proof that the Kevin V. Mike talk is Bullshit. And the anti Kolb stuff is bullshit. That’s all I’m saying.

Boy Diz, you are the human flip flop. “I’m just bullshitting”. Then you call people on the ‘other side’ of your argument ‘dickheads’….

You got split personalities?

See Diz, when people stand up for Kolb – you think that says something about Vick – IT DOESN’T. It’s NOT KOLB OR VICK. WE HAVE BOTH. If I say Jimmy Rollins is a good hitter, and you say, what do you have against Ryan Howard? —- You see how that would be silly? They’re BOTH on the Phillies, and their not against each other. Who is bashing Vick’s play? NOBODY. But you keep defending him.

It’s like you are a security guard punching air in front of the person you are protecting. No body is out there trying to hurt your boy, but you keep defending him as if they are.

Nicely said Schiller. Eventually people are going to realize that there is NO qb controversy. It doesn’t exist. If Kolb and Vick are not whining, there is no reason for anybody else to do so either. The important questions about this team are elsewhere in the lineup. Continued growth from Nate Allen, how is Trevard Lindley coming along, can Sims play like the player he was expected to become. Those are real issues.

your talking about Diz taking shots at Kolb…looks like you took a shot at Vick….(double standard, is ok for you I guess) talking about him blowing money because of the trouble he was in….give me a break! you say you support Vick, but in reality you really dont! you have your bias feelings about him because of what he did off the field and your comment from earlier in the day justifies my belief! Leave the other nonsense out of it, and support your QB like you are telling Dizzy!!

That is “RealTalk”

@TCole

Did ATL play like a #1 NFC defense? NO NOT EVEN CLOSE!! ATL could easily be a 2-4 team!!! there were more holes on that field, than cars in the stadium parking lot! Coaching Staff had a great game plan, and the Eagles executed on both sides of the ball!!!

Real, if you look, I was responding to someone’s post about his parents sitting ‘with the common folk’, I wasn’t saying anything about him, his football play, or whether/when he should play. Your just fishing for a ‘gotcha’…
