Ross will keep playing in pain

San Francisco Giants outfielder Cody Ross has had the Phillies’ number so far in this NLCS. He popped two solo shots off of Doc in Game 1, and then hit another off of Oswalt in Game 2. He’s generally been a pain in the rear end.

But if you’ll remember, he got nailed on the forearm in Game 4. And apparently, the bruising was bad enough that it warranted x-rays. While they came back negative, he’s still dealing with a decent amount of pain.

Don’t expect him to miss any time, though, he says he’ll play through it.

“Nothing is going to keep me out, but it’s swelled up pretty good and it’s bruised up, but it’s not broke,” Ross said. “I’m definitely going to play. I’m going to fight through it.”

Any injuries to the Giants are good news for Phillies fans. This lineup isn’t very good, but they are playing well right now and have given the Phillies fits. Hopefully, Ross will only hold the bat with one hand and try to hit the ball that way.

A big Blunder on his part getting thrown out by Werth on a tag play to 3rd base,,
If the Phils come back to win this Series, that play will go down as the critical play that changed the Series in my opinion..Outside of that, he has been on fire at the plate and had a lot of big hits
