Eagles quarterback Michael Vick was just named Sporting News Comeback Player Of The Year. Vick is sure to win most of the comeback awards for his return to SuperStardom.
San Francisco’s Pro Bowl tight end Vernon Davis told a reporter that he wouldn’t mind catching passes from former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb. The Niners have a new head coach in former Stanford head coach Jim Harbaugh. I doubt that McNabb will be heading that way.
Allen Iverson has a lesion in his leg that is pressing up against the bones in his legs. According to Iverson’s manager, Gary Moore, Iverson will return to the U.S. to have the surgery.
“It has to be removed and tested to see if it’s benign or not,” Moore said. “Once that’s removed, Allen is going to look to rehabilitate his leg because the doctors tell him he’ll be out four to six weeks, He’s hoping to be able to play in the playoffs.”
Adam Caplan of FoxSports reports that the Cleveland Browns have yet to request permission to talk to Marty Mornhinweg. That will probably mean that Marty will return next year as the team’s offensive coordinator.
Memo to McNabb: Retire, enjoy the fruits of your labor. You earned it!
I’m so shocked. After that brilliant play calling against the Packers how could they not be knocking down the doors to get to Marty. He and Andy deserve each other. Andy is the coach that “has to do a better job”. Marty is the coach who decided to kick the ball in OT. 2 geniuses.
Looks like Martys boys holgram and Heckert are doing him dirty by not even interviewing him
G Cobb needs an I phone app for his site
Or maybe Marty’s boys know something we don’t know. Marty and Andy are so similar in their playcalling.
