It’s been all Ravens for the most part in the first half. The Steelers have turned the ball over twice to set up easy scores by Baltimore. As I had predicted Terrell Suggs is having a great game and In addition, Pittsburgh safety Troy Polamalu looks rusty like I predicted.
It’s the start of the second half and Baltimore leads 21-7. Make that 21-14 as the Steelers score after a turnover.
Ravens offense looked good with that high pass:run ratio in the first half… just saying…
And how about those screens? Hope AR and MM were watching.
Hire herm Edwards or rob Ryan as the next dc
Wow Flacco is making a meal of this game. And he is supposed to be one of those “Manage the game and dont lose the game type of QBs.
Flacco looking like McNabb out there (only thing missing is the vomit)
Blade
With more cameras than a Hollywood movie set, why is there no video of McNabb vomiting?

Didn’t know you had a play-off chat. You should have announced in advance.
One thing that is very evident, the Fans in Pittsburgh willed their team to that monster 3rd Quarter and in my opinion was a huge factor on why the Steelers are what they are. IF the Eagles were down 21-7 at half, and then came out in 2nd half and went 3 and out, they would have been booing and jeering their home team.. It’s a night & day difference once your in western Pa..
Blame the Ravens loss on their over-hyped WR’s .. how many passes did Boldin and TJ Houz dropped.. Bolding dropped a TD pass and TJ dropped that final pass which could have kept that final drive alive.. Ray Rice played like crap too
The last stat I saw when Boldin dropped that TD catch was he was targeted 4 times for 1 catch

You really think it was the fans that won the game?
drummer gotta admit once those fans found their voice in the 3rd quarter Flacco started to look real bad and there was that snap fumble which looked to be a snap count fail by somebody. And it really helped rally the steelers D they were beasts in the second half.
Which thread are we using?
mimitaro – Those fans sounded incredibly loud on TV.
Don’t the players first have to do something to ignite the crowd?
Drummer – if you want to bash McDermott use the other thread
Ciao!
Atlanta looks good so far.
both teams are looking pretty good but GB’s made 2 very costly mistakes and Atlanta made good.
Philly.com just reported that Eagles have hired David Akers as its Defensive Coordinator, citing this as the logical move to justify the raise he requested.
Maybe
I’m not that angry with McDermott. There were lots of injuries and when it counted they held Green Bay to 21 and gave us the ball back with more than 2:00 to play. Don’t misconstrue that to mean I was pleased with his defense. I just don’t know enough about defensive schemes/personnel to have an educated opinion.
Looks like G is on the other thread. I’m going there, even though Vinnie’s also there.
I think the Steeler fans stuck behind their team to give them a chance before Baltimore self-destructed , IF that was Philly, The fans would have been booing the QB,the Coaches and everyone else… The Steelers Fans kept their team pumped when they were down and almost out it..
I think it was the coach.
Tomlin is one of top coaches, no doubt and their coaching staff as a group do a great job every season, I like how they put their players in position to make plays on a consistent basis
Difference between Steelers and Eagles are one team runs the ball, stops the run, has players to do both, qb capable of 70% passing in playoffs, won 2 recent SB and still running for one this year.
The Other big difference tydm is the Fans..
The Crowd noise at the Linc sucks anymore.. The Crowd noise at Heinz Field becomes a real issue for
the Opposing teams and a definite advantage for the Steelers..
The Linc doesn’t intimidate any visitors anymore and the booing and heckling for the home team is actually a letdown for the players…
