According to Ravens insider Aaron Wilson, he is hearing strong but unconfirmed rumors that secondary coach Johnnie Lynn is on his wayto be the secondary coach for the Birds.
He has coached with the Jets, and 49ers. He was with the Niners for the last five years, but resigned from his position there a couple of months ago in December of 2010.
I know Johnnie from our days in the National Football League and college ball as well. Lynn played for a long time with the New York Jets and played his college ball at UCLA as a defensive back coach.

Sounds like the Eagles are putting together a veteran defensive coaching staff to take some of the burden off of Castillio. If we can get some veteran FA on the defensive side of the ball then we may have something.

I would say the fact the G-Man didn’t really elaborate on Mr Lynn’s credentials as a coach, doesn’t bode to well to Mr Lynn..
Hasn’t the 49ers Secondary struggled the last few years and this is with some some highly paid free-agents on board like CB N Clemens and S M Lewis during Coach Lynn’e stay in San Fran..
