Last night LeBron James and the Miami Heat were in Detroit dismantling the Pistons, when a fan started heckling him. In fact, he wasn’t just heckling him, he started talking about his James’ Mom. Reportedly James was bothered by it, so he went over the fan and drew a line in the sand.
“You can say whatever you want to say to me but don’t be disrespectful I don’t give a ….. what you say, but don’t be disrespectful. Okay. Alright.”, James stated.
The Heat won the game easily by a score of 106-92. James almost had a triple-double with 16 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds.
Word has it that the fan was saying something about the rumors which had been swirling around about James’ mother. You are asking for trouble by saying things about the mother of a 6’8″ 280-pound monster like LeBron in his face.
I wonder what would have happened had the fans continued with his heckling.
Where do you come down on this heckling? Should a fan be allowed to say anything because they bought a ticket? Or should there be limits to what the fan should be able to say before he or she is ejected?
A fan rousing a player a little can be entertaining and i dont mind when a guy is having a little fun. But when your being insulting your really making people around you uncomfortable.Just cause you brought a ticket doesnt give you the right to act like a jerk,no way. Just because you buy a ticket to a rock concert doesnt give you the right to act like an animal while others are tryna enjoy the show.
Good for Bron for telling this jerk to curb his comments. Handled it the right way.
I’ve noticed the ushers at all the sports games are pretty quick too stifle these guys in our city.
Lebron brought the media himself with arrogant comments and honestly he was very immature about the way he left Cleveland. I am suprised he was able to keep his ego i check and talk like a man. After they lose in the finals maybe he will shake hands too.

If you do not like it then do not play and give up millions of dollars. It comes with the job; I do not feel bad for any player getting heckled, because the player gets paid millions of dollars. Fans pay for ALL athletes salaries…….so take whaever is being said and let it go through the other ear.
