Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will be speaking at a graduation in June for the Camelot school system, which works with the Philadelphia school system to help teenagers and young adults, who are at great risk to drop out and not get their diploma.
According to PhillySportsDaily.com, Vick will serve as the commencement speaker at the Camelot Schools graduation in June.
Many of these youngsters have made mistakes in their lives like dropping out, or getting trouble with the law or becoming an unmarried parent. This why Vick is thought to be an excellent person to speak to them.
“These students may have made a mistake along the way, but they turned it around,” Vick said. “They did the right thing and finished school. I am honored to be speaking at their commencement.”
In much the same way that forrmer NFL head coach Tony Dungy provided an example for Vick, now he will try to do the same for these youngsters.
I cant wait until he releases a book on his life cause I would buy it and hopefully be at an autograph signing as well.
