Football University (FBU), a national, invitation-only training camp run by former NFL players and coaches, heads to Atlanta next weekend from May 27-29, making it the 18th stop on the camp’s North American tour to over 40 cities. Football University selects and invites more than 200 of the region’s elite high school and youth players (6th-11th grades) to undergo three days of intense football training, all under the tutelage of former NFL players and coaches. “Football University” is developed by All American Games (formerly SportsLink), the creators of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
FBU Atlanta Is Sold Out: FBU returns to one of its most anticipated stops in Atlanta where this year’s camp roster has already been filled with kids who are seeking training and want to learn technique from the top coaches in the business. More than 200 athletes are signed up for the 18 hours of training over three days.
LRS Sports Providing Evaluations: LRS Sports will be providing evaluations for FBU Atlanta, just as it did for the FBU camps in Hawaii, Orlando, Miami, and Birmingham. Those camps had Dwight Thomas, a Florida high school coaching legend and a nationally-recognized recruiting specialist who provides combine and recruiting information to college programs throughout the country for more than 10 years.
FBU Atlanta will feature LRS’ Derrick Crudup, the former national championship-winning quarterback from Oklahoma who played with the Raiders in the NFL and coaches more than 12 seasons as a defensive and offensive coordinator, and George Spencer, who coached high school football for 36 years and is a board member of the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association (GACA).
