NFL Owners Vote To Lift The Lock Out!!!

GLORY, GLORY, GLORY, THE LOCK OUT HAS BEEN LIFTED!!! Make your tailgate plans! Set a time for your fantasy football drafts! Get ready for free agency! FOOTBALL IS BACK! No more reporters standing outside hotels speaking about numbers we cannot comprehend.

No more Adam Shefter in front of a book shelf exclaiming the owners and players are having a meeting about a future meeting of a meeting! AGAIN, FOOTBALL IS BAAA— Well almost, the players still need to recertify and ratify the agreement…then it is over!
NFL Commissioner Rodger Goodell and NFL Executive Vice President Jeff Pash made the announcement that the owners have voted to end the lock out just after 7 pm Wednesday night.

The big news coming out of the press conference is teams may begin to talk their unsigned players/draft picks but may not make officially sign contracts until the union recertifies.

“Given the compressed schedule it makes sense for players and clubs to engage in certain activity so long as no irrevocable steps are taken.” NFL Executive Vice President Jeff Pash told reporters.

Recertification is needed for free agency to begin, if the players to do not form the union by Wednesday, July 27th the start of the 2011 NFL season will be put on hold.

Pash seemed confident the players would recertify and approve the agreement.

“We believe and expect that we will have a fully approved and ratified agreement on a timely basis.” Pash told reporters. “I can’t imagine Demaurice [Smith] is going to pay all those hours to his attorneys to negotiate an agreement that he and his membership then decide not to ratify.”

Commissioner Goodell also announced during the press conference that the Hall of Fame Game was canceled as a result of the compressed off-season schedule that now must take place due to the lock out.

This is hardly over. Save the glory and praise until something actually happens, D. Smith and his nerdy looking attorney could still throw it all in the crapper.

GLORY, GLORY, GLORY, my a$$. Tail gate this!! Nothing has been lifted yet. Way to jump the gun, Jerry. The players haven’t signed s#!t yet, & are playing games, & still bitching & moaning. I really can’t stand these pampered, spoiled, C@#k suckers. Jerry, try waiting for the lock out to actually lift, before you write an article. Sorry to be so harsh, but dude, you are the worst article writer on here. You Sir, are a Dope!
