The Eagles have added another diminutive and speedy backup for LeSean McCoy. University of West Virginia product and rookie free agent Noel Divine has just signed with the Eagles. He’s the school’s All-Time leader in all purpose yards (5,761).
This is going to make things crowded and competitive in the Birds offensive backfield. The Birds acquired another another small, quick and speedy running back, Dion Lewis, in this year’s draft.
Divine returns kickoffs and is also very effective in the passing game.
Last year he had a problem with a turf toe and it limited his effectiveness in his senior year at West Virginia.
que paulman
Paulman: He’s a great back with alot of flare for the inside. He’s got great speed. My sources in West Virginia tell me the toe has healed quite nicely. This was a great signing. He’ll be a top proven prospect this season.
Who cares with these meaningless signings. These are camp bodies. If this their aggressiveness, then they’re doing great with undrafted camp bodies. WTF!!!! TRADE KOOOOOOLB!!!
Wow, go big east. The Eagles now have a backfield entirely full of Pitt and WVU guys… kinda cool and yet wierd for me, being a Pitt alumn/WVU rival. All of those players were standouts in school though, so I’m happy.
as a wvu grad myself, i love it. dudes got serious speed and is mad shifty. now we got the beer truck schmitt from dub v blockin for devine from dub v. sweet!
paulman where you at? can you break this down for all of us who arent as smart and know as much about football as you do? what are your sources (espn) saying?
Lezzi what’s your degree an AA? alcoholics anonymous? i read an article that says all that school does is drink.
My sources say this is meaningless.
runtheball:
you can say the same thing for pretty much every college in the country chief. ever been to penn st? pitt?
and my name isnt “Lezzy” its Iezzi.
oh please, no pennsylvania OR WV school drinks as much as Indiana University of Pennsylvania – AKA “I.U.P” – has nothing to do with words that indicate states or schools – it stands for “I Usually Party”.
looks pretty good to me

kolb trade yet?
No go to Arizona for Kolb who are signing Matt HAsselback instead..
Seahawks signed T Jackson who is very familiar with Seattle’s new offense since they hired former Viking O/Coordinator which is a good fit
The Titans are now back in picture for Kold for CB C Finnegan and a 2nd Round pick in 2012 per my sources..
Devine has potential as a return player, but he doesn’t blcok well, and his work ethich has been an issue while at WVU.. He has a terrible Senior week and a poor COmbine so unless he’s got his head together, he wont be around long and Draft Pick D Lewis is much tougher and brings the same attributes but with heart and focus.. Devine will be a camp body since Eagles will not bring back Harrison & Buckley..
so what are likely the moves the eagles are going to make to add players…all i see is subtraction going on. i figured they would be making news since they have an aggressive plan. maybe silence is the new aggressive.
lew you do realize that the types of moves teams can make right now are limited right?
