Eagles tight end Brent Celek didn’t want to make a big deal about it, but he told a group of media members that he got a shot in his hip today. He said his hip had been sore, so the shot was a way of remedying it.
“I’ve had it for a while,” said Celek of the sore hip. “Just trying to keep the inflammation down. But I’m fine.” I don’t think it’s a big deal, but you know the way the Eagles reluctantly release medical information.
I’ve told you numerous times that the Michael Vick and Celek connection will be a key to the Birds being more consistent in their passing game.
A quarterback can usually always get the ball to his tight end for a short gain. It’s like a good basketball player having a low-post game, once he misses a couple of jump shots, he takes his man down on the low post. This is what Vick will be able to do if he established a better chemistry with Celek.
The tight end emphasized that it’s time to get into the regular season routine.
“You watch film on the Rams, go over everything that you can go over”, Celek said. “See some of things that you’ve done in the 
preseason that you can improve on. Go out to practice and try to get better every single day”.
I could tell that Celek was turning up the focus on the Rams and starting to get ready for game one.
Celek needs a fast start and the Eagles offense need him to have a good start to the Season.. Until Maclin/SMith are up to speed, Teams will double cover D-Jax and take the deep routes out of the equation, If Celek cannot exploit the open middle ofthe field this Season, then it’s time to get Harbor in there for more athlieticism and speed to put more pressure on teams LB’s and SAfeties that what Celek has done recently (last year)
League ought to make the wearing of hip and thigh pads mandatory

Anderson, why don’t so many people deserve to have this team!? What exactly have they done for us!? Got close!? Have a winning record mostly, every year!? Big flipping deal!!!
