You remember the St. Louis Rams team which was called the “Greatest Show On Turf”, which was led by quarterback Kurt Warner, along with speedy halfback Marshall Faulk, as well as wide receivers Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt. They 
were hard to stop in any game, but they were most difficult to deal with when you played them on turf because the surface enhanced their speed. It made a fast team even faster.
The Eagles are also a speed team in the same odel of that Rams team. Like that St. Louis they spring big plays on defenses and they like to start fast. The Birds also seem to be faster on turf than they are on the grass.
Most teams have advantage from playing at home, but after looking at the Eagles outrun the Rams last week on their turf at the Edward Jones Dome, the Birds may benefit from playing in domes.
Even though their home stadium, Lincoln Financial Field is a grass field, the Eagles talent really fits a turf surface where their speed would be kicked up another notch. They’ve got the fastest quarterback, Michael Vick and fastest wide receiver in the game, DeSean Jackson. The other starting receiver, Jeremy Maclin has some speed of his own as well as their running backs.
Last week Vick’s speed made the entire Rams team look slow. He darted through them like it was a man playing against boys. Every time a Rams defender got close to him, Vick would turn on the turbos and leave him like he was standing still.
The noise in the Georgia Dome will still be a challenge for the Birds, but the experience they gained from last week’s game in the Edward Jones Dome will probably make their job easier.
“Yeah, I think it certainly helps the fact that we had some experience last week and had to open it up in a dome”, Vick said yesterday. “So the crowd noise this week is just like a common thing for us now. You know, and it’s really not going to be a factor. You know it’s going to be loud in there and your concentration level has to be high.”
If Vick, Jackson, Maclin and McCoy get the chance to turn on the turbos on the Falcons defense on that Georgia Dome turf, the Atlanta squad may wish they had played the game in Philadelphia on a grass field.
no way he even throws for 300 yards… the Falcons will only have a chance if they control the ball with the run game and play action pass… they also need the Eagles to turn the ball over 3 or more times…
their defense doesnt have a prayer against the Eagles O…. Ryan is overrated.

In my FF Leagues, I have always stayed away from picking Eagle players for it’s enough tortue and stress sometimes watching their games as it is ..
This way, I can just focus on the team and the outcomes and not worry about individual performances from the Eagles Teams..
This Week my Pick is the Eagles 30- Falcons 24 in an exciting game which goes back and forth in the 1st half and then Eagles pull away in the 2nd half

According to research done by football outsiders. Mike Vick is the second worst in the league taking sacks when he’s held the ball for more than 3 seconds. Only guy how get sacked holding the ball longer is another superstar…Josh Johnson.!!
Keep blaming the O-Line, but for 22 of Vick’s 34 sacks he had the ball longer than 3 seconds.
Did you know….Kolb has thrown for 300 yards in 4 of his 7 full games. One more and he ties Vick, who has 5 in his entire career….but hey, Vick’s only had 10 years to get those 5……
