So far all the reports from ESPN say that a team source has said that they believe the quarterback will be able to play this Sunday against the Giants. The key for me will be this afternoon which quarterback will get the reps with the first team.
I would expect Andy Reid and his coaching staff to let all three quarterbacks,Vick, Mike Kafka and Vince Young get reps with the first team, since they can’t possibly sure at this time which one will be the starter.
On Monday head trainer Rick Burkholder refused to provide any time table for when the team would be able to say yes or no on Vick starting or playing in the third week of the season against the Giants.
I will providing reports all day about the status of the Eagles quarterback position. Andy Reid will begin his news conference at approximately 11:40am and the locker room will open immediately after his news conference ends.
I will be on the practice field with the Birds from 1:30-1:40pm. Today’s practice will be closed. I will be able to talk to the players at about noon and the locker room will be open for 45 minutes until 12:45pm.
