I hope they put together a full quality game. Of course it’s going to be harder without Trent Cole and Jason Peters, but they must get a full game from everybody. They wore down with a healthy Cole available, so who knows what’s going to happen with him injured.
I want to see this team take care of the football on each run and pass, but securing it fundamentally with both points of it covered. Michael Vick has to be careful with his decision-making and the defense has to stop giving up all these big plays. They should play man-to-man and ask Nmandi and Asante to cover their guys without deep help for quite a few plays.
If they get sloppy with the football, they’re going to lose and it could get ugly. They’re season is on the line and I want to play like it. Maybe Andy Reid could remind his players that Frank Gore believes that they quit last week.
DeSean Jackson and Vick could blow the Bills out with their deep plays because Buffalo has no pass rush. Expect the Birds to be going deep early and often.
Right now, I’m not a believer because this Eagles defense is terrible. I’ve got the Buffalo Bills beating the Birds 38-34 in a high-scoring contest.

Eagles have plenty of Offense but Red-Zone Issues & Tunovers are the key to the game.. If they fix both of these, then they have a good chance of winning,but Defense will have to play their game of the Season and a lot of rotational players are goign to have to step up and make plays and I am not so sure they have it in them to do it.. ..
Here comes Vick the Turnover machine.. He’s killing this team early in games with these unforced Turnovers.. It put’s them behind the 8-Ball right out of the gate..
Bills marching right down the field on this Eagle Defense, they score a TD on this drive, then the “route ” is on and it may end-up 44-10
They (and other teams) will keep pounding the rock until the EAgles can prove they can stop it.. With Gore’s comments about them qwuitting when the going get’s tough, what do you think other teams will do.. The Eagles look really solid and consistent. I love all the trickery. It looks like it’s really confusing the Bills.
I think that interception will help us because our defense will go for a pick 6. This team just needs more time to gel. We’ll be fine in a couple more weeks. No worries guys.

He looks like he shot his was last Fall when he was on a roll for about 4-6 weeks, since then, he has played like he’s avlways played with is good plays, exciting plays but not winning plays… The Eagles are going to regret that 5-6 Year $100 Million Deal as much as the Phiiles will regret thte long-term $25 Million per year Ryan Howard… Philly Franchises for Football and Baseball windows are now closed and it will be another decade before a winner occurs which is probably a good thing for too many fans and media were getting spoiled anyways and probably need to wallow and suffer for a while again…
Should have been “Vick shot his wad last October in that Mon Night game vs the Redskins ” for since that 1st half of football was played, Vick really has been back to his career playing ways of his Falcon days and this is not good enough for the EAgles to win or go anywhere…

Howard Eskin is actually bad mouthing Reid. That means he’s gotten permission from the Eagles front office to do so. They, once again, are laying the groundwork for Reid’s exit. It happened once about 4 years ago. I don’t recall the exact circumstances. I think it was the year that Minnesota had to beat Chicago and Cincy had to beat the Patriots (or something crazy), for the Eagles to get into the playoffs. This all happened during the last week of the season and the Eagles got in, which saved Andy’s job.

A bad offensive scheme creates a domino effect on all phases of the game.
We have the 2nd leading rusher in the NFL, yet we can’t make 1 yard when we need it, and he often never touches the ball in those situations. It’s not about “how much” we run the ball, as it is about “how” we run it and how well we run it in situations. Those trick plays do nothing when you need 2 yards to keep a drive going, but they can be great when you’re expecting a 90% passing offense to keep passing.
I’ve always said that Reid sets his QBs up for failure. He did it to McNabb, Kolb and Vick.
