The Eagles have worked out free agent quarterback Trent Edwards and had him in town for a physical earlier in the off season. It looks like they’re going to get a deal done with him. According to Philly.com, Eagles GM Howie Roseman said “that’s something that may come about pretty quickly here”.
Like the Eagles starter Michael Vick, Edwards is regarded as a very good athlete at the quarterback position. It would mean the Birds are going to say good bye to last year’s backup Vince Young, but Edwards wouldn’t be guaranteed the backup job over last year’s third stringer, Mike Kafka.

AJ Feeley would have been my choice, and a better back up that knows this offense, and has played in the last 2 years……Just another dumb move by the FO…………The saga continues………..
