Eagles starting wide receivers DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin are dressed up and practicing today, according to Philly.com. Jackson injured his hamstring on Wednesday and Maclin injured his hip on Sunday in the Cleveland Browns game.
The Birds signed Mardy Gilyard to the roster on Tuesday because of the possibility that Maclin wouldn’t be able to play on Sunday. The Eagles are running short at the wide receiver position with backup Riley Cooper still recovering from a fractured collarbone, which he suffered at training camp.
It’s going to be especially crucial that the Eagles are able to threaten the Ravens through the air in order to open up some opportunity for LeSean McCoy and the Eagles running game to get going.
