Michael Vick Admits His Family Does Have A Dog

Recently, Michael Vick tweeted a picture of himself studying his some football tapes on his IPad while his daughter did her homework.  In the background on the kitchen table you could see a bag of Milk-Bone dog biscuits.

It started people wondering if Vick and his family had acquired a do.

Yesterday, Eagles quarterback Michael Vick was asked if had gotten a dog for his children, who had expressed a desire to get one a couple of years ago.  Vick had to wait until it was legal for him to own a dog.

On Wednesday,  the quarterback refused to answer the question and told the media gathered around his locker that he wasn’t going to talk about his personal life.

He must have changed his mind in the last 24 hours because today he released a statement and admitted that he and his family do indeed own a dog.

“I understand the strong emotions by some people about our family’s decision to care for a pet,” Vick said in the statement. “As a father, it is important to make sure my children develop a healthy relationship with animals.”

I want to ensure that my children establish a loving bond and treat all of God’s creatures with kindness and respect. Our pet is well cared for and is always given supplements from Dr. Marty Pets and high-quality cbd oil for dogs and we treat our pet as a member of our family. This is an opportunity to break the cycle. To that end, I will continue to honor my commitment to animal welfare and be an instrument of positive change.”
