Thad Lewis turns the ball over quite a bit. The Chiefs defenses forces quite a bit of turnovers. Andy Reid heads into the bye week 9-0.
Pick: Kansas City 23, Buffalo 13
Atlanta @ Carolina
A lot of people have given up on Atlanta, but I haven’t yet. The Falcons haven’t been able to win a lot of games, but they’re not ready to forget about the season just yet. Even though Carolina is at home and riding a little winning streak, I think Matt Ryan and Atlanta has one more big effort left for a division foe.
Pick: Atlanta 27, Carolina 21
Minnesota @ Dallas
The Vikings are a trainwreck. A new quarterback seems to start every couple of weeks, Adrian Peterson hasn’t been nearly as dominate as he was a year ago, and their defense can’t stop anybody. Romo and his receivers should light this team up.
Pick: Dallas 31, Minnesota 20
New Orleans @ New York
The Saints are starting to hit their stride offensively. And their defense is still playing at a high level. They should be able to control Geno Smith, and take one on the road.
Pick: New Orleans 30, New York 17
Tennessee @ St. Louis
The Rams gave a great defensive effort last week, but they’re going to have a hard time beating anyone with Kellen Clemens at quarterback.
Pick: Tennessee 13, St. Louis 9
San Diego @ Washington
The Chargers are fresh off of the bye week, and playing well. Washington’s defense has been garbage all year, and Robert Griffin and the offense took a step back last week after making some progress the week before against Chicago.
Pick: San Diego 31, Washington 20
Philadelphia @ Oakland
West coast trips are always difficult, and the Raiders have actually played some decent football this year. They’ve got a solid defense that is going to be a tough matchup on an offense that has generated just three points in the last two weeks. I think the Eagles find the endzone this week, but ultimately drop one on the road.
Pick: Oakland 24, Philadelphia 17
Tampa Bay @ Seattle
One of the bigger mismatches of the week. Rookie Mike Glennon has little chance to go into Seattle and win in one the league’s most difficult stadiums against a top defense.
Pick: Seattle 38, Tampa Bay 10
Baltimore @ Cleveland
Its a must-win situation for the Ravens. They’ve had their bye, and now they need to start picking up wins to keep pace with the Bengals for the division title.
Pick: Baltimore 20, Cleveland 10
Pittsburgh @ New England
The Steelers can’t score more than 20 points in a game. The Patriots have been pretty spotty themselves offensively, but Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola will slowly make the offense stronger each week. New England should win this at home.
Pick: New England 24, Pittsburgh 16
Indianapolis @ Houston
The Texans are in complete disarray, while the Colts have stepped up and seized control of the division. This is the chance for Andrew Luck and the Colts to officially claim supremacy over their division, and I don’t think they’ll miss the opportunity.
Pick: Indianapolis 31, Houston 16
Chicago @ Green Bay
Josh McCown can’t outduel Aaron Rodgers.
Pick: Green Bay 38, Chicago 23
