- Evan Turner couldn’t build off of his game-winning effort against the Nets from Friday. Turner shot just 2-15 for 10 points.
- Spencer Hawes bounced back from his 3-14 effort on Friday with a 25-point 11-rebound performance. The seven footer pulled down seven offensive rebounds.
- Hollis Thompson scored just three points on five shots in 20 minutes of action.
- Michael Carter-Williams had a nice double-double with 19 points and 12 assists.
- The Sixers got just 19 points from their bench.
- The team was a little better at defending the three tonight, allowing only seven three’s to fall, but still allowed the Bucks to shoot over 50% from the floor.
- Three members of the Bucks scored more than 20 points tonight. Khris Middleton led the charge with 27, Caron Butler had 22 (along with 11 rebounds), and Brandon Knight put in 21.
- Middleton scored 20 of his points in the second half.
- The Bucks controlled the game from start to finish and one point led by 19. The Sixers did manage to cut the lead to seven in the fourth quarter.
Final Thoughts
The Milwaukee Bucks are one of the teams that are competing with the Sixers for the worst record in the league.
Milwaukee entered tonight’s game with just five wins on the season, making tonight’s loss an important one for the Sixers’ eventual standing in the lottery.
The Sixers will have a full week off before their next game against the Phoenix Suns.
