  • Kevin Slowley started for the Phils, tossing two scoreless innings, allowing one hit and striking out two. Slowly, a former starter for the Marlins, may be in the mix for a roster spot. 
  • Paul Clemens followed Slowey with two scoreless frames.
  • Ethan Martin worked the fifth and sixth innings, allowing a run on two hits and a walk.
  • Hector Neris pitched two clean innings, and struck out two.
  • Justin De Fratus worked a clean ninth to earn the save.

At The Plate

  • The Phillies managed three runs on eight hits. 
  • Odubel Herrera batted leadoff and played centerfield, going 3-4 with two runs scored. All of his hits went for singles.
  • Freddy Galvis went 0-3, leaving three runners on base.
  • Domonic Brown went 0-2 with a walk and left two men on.
  • A day after going 2-2 with an RBI, Ryan Howard went 0-3 with four men left on.
  • Maikel Franco made his Spring debut, going 1-4 with an RBI.
  • Darin Ruf played first base, going 1-4 with an RBI and a double, the Phils first extra-base hit of the Spring.
  • Cord Phelps played second, going 2-4 with an RBI.
  • Tommy Joseph was the catcher today, and went 0-3.
