Man, Ben Revere has been awful so far this spring. Hopefully he is able to turn on the jets by June like he’s done the last 2 seasons.
Also, Papelbon needs to go, even if its for peanuts. Ken Giles could use the opportunities in a lost season to improve and be our closer moving forward during these rebuilding years.
Ben Revere stinks!
Although the NL was weak last year hitting wise, Ben Revere finished the season with the 5th best batting average, 49 stolen bases (217 total based), with average outfield play. Ill take that kind of production from a $4 million dollar centerfielder any day of the week.
You can Sean, but you better have some thumpers in the Corner OF Positions who can drive in Runs, Provide Some Extra Base Hits and Power and have good Arms to at least keep base runners honest…
