I’m sure you know by now that former Eagles Pro Bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb, who led the Birds to five NFC Championship games and one Super Bowl, was arrested and charged with DUI a couple of weeks ago in Arizona. This was the second time in two years, that McNabb was stopped so he could be facing 90 days in jail.
6ABC is reporting that McNabb’s blood alcohol level was .171 which is more than twice the legal limit of .08. The Gilbert Police Department has said a .15 alcohol level is “extreme DUI”
TMZ.com got a hold of the video of McNabb being arrested. He tells the arresting officer that he isn’t drunk. McNabb explains to him that he has a cold and has been taking some medication.
Look for a dui attorney near me if you have been charged by the police and need help to get out of this trouble, they will be able to provide you with all the legal assistance that you will need, have a peek here to learn more about how an attorney can help you.
At the end of the 2004 season, the Philadelphia Eagles were led by Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens to the Super Bowl. Unfortunately McNabb and Owens weren’t able to keep their partnership together for the next season as their relationship deteriorated and the 2005 season went south.
They don’t seem to have been able to patch things up in the ten years that have passed since that season. About a week ago, McNabb was arrested for second time in a couple of years for DUI and Owens couldn’t resist offering some advice to a former teammate.
“DUI is a very serious thing. The number of lives that have been lost from it are staggering. It’s a blessing no one was hurt. We may not still be playing, but we still serve as role models. You have to be more responsible. Next time, call Uber.”
First rate clown. Like he Always was a joke, and a disgrace to eagles history he was the v biggest choke artist in the history of eagles football he got by like many do because of being in a protected class. He was hands off, except for the truth speakers of his same color. Hopkins and Owens
Donovan,Donovan,Donovan,Donovan,Donovan!!!
Cab, cab, cab, cab, cab!!!
little rough there Jake. If he would just admit all his mistakes instead of blaming others and making excuses, this town would have loved him. Instead he has foot in mouth disease and I swear he acts like a child at times. This might be the best thing to happen to him, Mom and dad can;t protect him. It’s a shame because he had some great days as an Eagle. Just goes to show you, talent can;t cover all flaws.
