Sam Bradford Could Lose Starting Job If He Misses Practices

SamBradfordvs.Redskins1Eagles head coach Doug Pederson let Birds quarterback Sam Bradford know that it’s not going to benefit him to miss the team’s upcoming mandatory workouts. This is all an ongoing reaction by the Eagles to Bradford’s request of a trade and his refusal to take any calls by Pederson.

“Anybody that’s not in any of the 32 offseason programs is losing valuable time at that club, ” Pederson said, via Josh Paunil of PhillyMag.com. “So anybody that’s not in the offseason program, yes, would lose the time.”

Bradford has never had a heated battle for playing time.  He’s always been given his playing time because he was anointed the team’s starting quarterback.  He knows that’s not going to be the case anymore with Carson Wentz being the second player taken in this year’s draft.  He’s supposed to be the starter but he is no longer the “Anointed One” on the Birds’ roster.

“I think it depends on how and when he does come back and how fast we can catch him up and put him back in that situation and see where he’s at at that time,” Pederson said, via Paunil. “Again, no one makes the team in April. We’re not making any roster adjustments and letting people go. It’s all about evaluation, and he’s in that evaluation process. But as I’ve said in the past, he was one, Chase [Daniel] is two and we’re moving on from there.”

SAMs camp has miscalculated this whole thing. Guy has never competed… Come in the league for a 2-14 team, sign a $75 million contract and no one questions the mediocrity, get traded to us for the only other viable QB option… Now all of a sudden he sulks when another qb is brought in

HAC Sammy is not sulking , just playing the Eagles like a cheap tom tom drum you may have got for Christmas,His q.b leadership , skills fit him like a cheap suit, you used to buy on south street,When some loudmouth chump was hawking them. Hard to beat sammy. Not too many men I know who own 100 million and counting are going to risk getting their chicklets knocked out by a nasty dog like player as mean and nasty as the junkyard dogs that used to roam my hood in Gtown before I moved to the farm. No one can beat sammy, Too savvy , might not be tough, but he is has gathered up his savvy in life.

I actually think sam is gonna retire by mid summer
For the following reasons
1. He doesn’t like competition
2. He doesn’t want to be a backup
3. I see no team next yr that’s gonna sign him to long term deal next yr I mean every team that needed a qb got one and if a team next season is bad there gonna draft a qb and Sam is Gonna be back in the spot which he is in now I think sam sits down late may and talks with his family and by late June retires

And in the end it will not matter. Wentz will play this year. The more I have seen of him he may have a Manning Year (I.E. Filled with mistakes). I just hope he learns. I also don’t care if the Eagles end up with the least wins and the Browns pick 1and2. It will just make our other picks better. 33, 34… What ever. I don’t think that likely even if Wentz started every game.

I think we win at least 6. Wentz has a cannon and the more he plays the more he will get coached up.

The sit a guy plan was for the Lynches, Hackenburgs and such.

Bradford will show up and will be starter until he is hurt – Daniels will take over and navigate to a mediocre record until Wentz is ready. Two years from now Bradford will be a distant memory and Wentz will be viewed as the best QB in the NFC East. That is why I plan to keep my seats……….

“That is why I plan to keep my seats…..” — anyone who didn’t like the Wentz trade needs to read that sentence over and over and over again….

untangle this mess Howie Roseman.
Having news media complain about Sam Bradford’s absence and desire for disassociation doesn’t solve this KABOOM … massive EXPENSIVE free agency blunder. —

Bull!!

Stop it G,,,just stop it…

“Bradford has never had a heated battle for playing time.”

He’s not going to have a “heated battle” with Wentz…the kid will play there will be no ‘competition’ that is pure baloney and Bradford knows it!

This is why he has made his reasonable demand for a trade!

Sam Bradford has been in the most heated competition with himself

Coming back from 2ACL injuries shows grit, effort, and determination

You dont get bigger competition that that…when you have to stand in the pocket and NFL lineman are coming hard and strong at your knees…and you are standing behind a weak offensive line!

Sam Bradford came back and showed character…

He thought the team was going to give him a fair shot after he fought so hard to overcome the injuries…the Eagles pulled a fast one and drafted Wentz

They should get rid of Bradford…let him go some where that he has a true shot to compete…lets get the Wentz era started…

Not next year but NOW…because if this kid is the real deal he will struggle at first and get better. If Wentz has the character and fortitude that you so believe in, he can be like Troy Aikman who was blasted his first year but came back and delivered.

The second pick in the draft who you gave so much up for should play…

Let the kid play!!

There is no Market for QB Sam Bradford, the Eagles are Stuck with him for 2016. The only chance is a Team losing their Starter to Injury this Preseason/Summer Camp who don’t have a quality Back-Up on their Roster and who can afford Bradford’s ridiculous Contract which is not too many Teams at this point..

This is what Howie excels at, contracts, trades, talking other teams take what the Eagles have lost interest in. It will take a bit of time, however the Eagles are not going to sit meekly by while sammy makes all of the demands and runs the program . Sam is the employee he is not the man. A very , a very , rich and underwhelming employee but he does run the program while Roseman and Lurie stand by with their fingers up their —. Being mocked and laughed at, Very, very very rich and powerful men don,t cotton to that .very often. This drama is just starting to unfold.

Just heard an interview with Sam’s agent, Tom Codon….. Andrew Brandt asked him if Sam would be willing to return some of that $11 million bonus money for his freedom…. Of course Condon said – “I’m not prepared to discuss Sam’s money”. He also reiterated that Sam will sit-out the voluntary camps….

I get the feeling Sam will be crawling back to mandatory training camp. He damn sure will not lose any money – the greedy little c*nt…

This guy doesn’t have the balls Carson Palmer had…. Palmer said, “I have $80 million dollars in the bank, I’ll retire”, and the Bengles blinked.

This pussy Bradford would never call the Eagles bluff – he will come running for his money.

Any fan that truly believes Saammy boy, has to will come running is totaly mislead about life/ football and all of the things in between, Sammy has enough money in the bank. not counting investments ,he can do what he wants, Quit, crawl back, take a trade or just go to another country with 10 or 20 smokin hot mamas to be his slaves .One of every color ,unless he is color blind of course., He has life , where no one on this site can or will ever achieve, he is one of the most fortunate mediocre q.b. I have ever read about in my lifetime, A lot of things sammy boy is but dumb is not on his list.He has played the n.f.l. like they have never been played before,100 million and more and a possible law suit,
