ESPN is reporting that Sam Bradford has reported to the Eagles this morning for a workout. He and his agent Tom Condon have rescinded their demand for a trade.
Bradford and Condon have come to the realization that their only option is to come in and play. There’s no where for them to go and the Eagles aren’t interested in trading him and taking a hit to their salary cap. The bottomline is that Bradford and Condon buckled like one of those cheap lawn chairs will do when somebody with a lot of weight tries to sit on them.
This is a big win for Eagles V.P. of Football Operations Howie Roseman and head coach Doug Pederson. Despite previous Bradford trade demands, Roseman had said that Bradford was going to be the team’s starting quarterback this season and they had no plans to trade him.
Roseman also pointed his finger at Condon for coming up with this holdout plan rather than pointing his finger at Bradford. I think it was a good move and I think it was correct in that this was Condon’s idea. This makes it easier for Bradford to come in and be forgiven by Eagles fans and the media.
Earlier this morning, Eagles defensive end Connor Barwin told Howard Eskin and The WIP Morning Show that Bradford will be coming in to work out today.
“He’ll be here today – I talked to him,” Barwin told Eskin on 94-WIP.
Bradford had also told texted the coaches yesterday and told them that he would be working out with the team today.

I really like Jordan Hicks but he has had a lot of injuries dating back to 2012 and has only Played 1 Full Season out of the last 4 Years..(Senior Year 2014 at U of Texas)
