It was a good day for all of the quarterbacks yesterday morning. If they were giving out game balls for practice, the quarterbacks would have got them for yesterday’s workout. I thought Sam Bradford, Chase Daniel and rookie Carson Wentz all did a good job of getting the football to the team’s receivers. I also thought the Eagles receivers did a much better job of catching the football yesterday than they did a week ago.
Bradford got into a groove with his ball placement. Nearly every throw was right on the money after he got into a rhythm. Bradford’s accuracy can be a amazing when he gets it going.
He hit Nelson Agholor on a 20-yard crossing route and he did a nice job of leading Agholor with the throw. He targeted Zach Ertz with a shallow crossing route versus a blitz. Bradford connected with Brent Celek on a number of short routes that keep a drive going. The running backs were also targets of Bradford’s throughout the workout.
Daniel made an especially outstanding throw to Celek down the seam. Celek looked back and the ball was in a spot, where only he could catch it. Daniel also made a beautiful throw down the seam to Jonathan Krause, who went and got the football. It’s obvious that Daniel is short, but he looks even shorter when compared to Bradford and Wentz.
Wentz dropped a ball into Chris Givens on the right sideline on a 25-yard fade, where only the receiver could have caught the football. His best throw might have been an incompletion in the left corner of the end zone, where Wentz put the ball where only his receiver, tight end Chris Pantale could get to it, but he was unable to pull it in despite the ball hitting his hands.
Birds tight end Ertz should have a big year in 2016 because he looks comfortable in this offense and he seems to have the confidence of all the quarterbacks and Doug Pederson’s offense features the tight ends and running backs.
Eagles have a brand new 2016 BMW in the garage with zero miles on the odometer and they keep driving this crappy 2009 crash damaged Saturn and the 2009 rusted Dodge Neon to try to pick up girls.
Lol!
I remember TSJ Posting that she earn how to Drive using a Dodge Neon
Should be “Learn” how to drive..
Too funny!
Excited to see how these 3 do all camp long. Baby steps for the rook… No need to get him out as a starter at all this year. They have given themselves the best they could for both now and 2 years from now. And Daniels is there in case Sam gets hurt. I really like what they have done.
over/under on number of bradford jersey’s sold this year? I’d say 62…. Kool and CT already have theirs…..
They are probably already on the discount rack and/or being shipped to impoverished villages around the world to help out with some free out of date clothing….
The Bradford 3, Kool, CT and cantakeitanymore all have theirs. That jersey will soon be put in the annals of average Eagles history. Not many sold, or will be sold excluding those three.
Kool took his old #7 Mike Vick jersey and stapled Bradford over the top of it, Brand New – Sam’s the man.
Truth be told – not a huge jersey guy. Much prefer wearing black birds sweatshirt to games and wouldn’t be caught dead in a jersey just walking around the street on a random day. Those people bother me and I would be willing to bet many of you fall into that category.
The Jerseys I do own are celek-kelly green, cox-midnight green, Irvin Fryer-white (i have no idea why I have this one), and Kearse-Black (which I wore to the Super Bowl).
As for Bradford – I’m done arguing. In my opinion he is going to have a great year and they are going to be left with a real decision to make at the end of 2016. You all don’t agree and I don’t really care.
I have never purchased a jersey for myself as I don’t feel like an adult should pay homage to another man….. that said, my son has a cole hamels jersey and I think that is the only jersey in the house.
play your way into the HOF sam!!!!!!
as always.. lines drawn and some only care about being the GM.
I am rooting for all 3 qbs and the others on this roster. Outside of pulling a cowboys move and loading up on rapists, murders and addicts… Ill root for anyone in green if they get us to where we want to be.
as i’ve stated many times… i want sideways to play his way into the HOF in eagles green.
