  • Odubel Herrera returned to the leadoff spot, and went 2-5 with two doubles and an RBI.
  • Freddy Galvis went 0-5 out of the two-hole.
  • Daniel Nava went 0-3 with a walk.

Final Thoughts

Nick Williams has been solid through his first two weeks in the majors, but really made his presence known in today’s victory.

Williams has hit a quality .279 since arriving from the minors, and may be beginning to really settle himself into a groove. The could certainly use another bright spot or two to make this season worth something. Hopefully after the trade deadline, Williams will be joined by more of the team’s prospects.
