- The offense put up six runs on 10 hits.
- Rhys Hoskins didn’t homer for the first time in five games, but went 2-4 with a double and drove in a run.
- Cesar Hernandez went 1-4 with a double.
- Freddy Galvis went 0-4.
- Nick Williams went 1-4 with a single and two strikeouts.
- Daniel Nava got a start in left and went 1-4 with a single.
- Maikel Franco went 1-3 with a single and drove in a run.
- Pedro Florimon played center and went 2-4 with a triple.
- Cameron Rupp went 1-3 with a solo homer.
Final Thoughts
Nice to see Aaron Nola get back on track after a couple of rough outings. Two poor starts were forgivable, but if he had struggled in a third straight outing, it would have been cause for concern.
